To start, I am an active person with a larger frame (6'4" 245lbs) so I tend to be a bit hard on the shoes I wear. Running, walking, rain, work, hiking... If I can tackle all of these activities with one shoe, I'm grateful. The Air Zoom Pegasus 40 checks most of these boxes with high marks.- Running, the shoe is lightweight, stable and breathes well (Great heel/arch support)- Walking, the shoe is quiet, fits true to size and my foot does not slide around (without needing to over tighten my laces)- Rain, living in the northwest, we encounter rain frequently. You get breathability at the expense of warmth and waterproofing.- Work, the black and white color scheme was professional and sharp. Easy to wear with jeans and shorts while matching most all of my shirts. The white sole does show dirt relatively easy (A quick wipe with a wet towel cleans them up).- Hiking, the mesh material does capture some dust, but can be cleaned. The tread pattern is rugged but not over done. You can walk from pavement to dirt (even grass) with good traction and comfort.Overall, this is a great shoe for all around use. The soles are holding up well under my weight. My favorite part is the unique heel shape in the sole that allows me to slide my shoes off without the use of my hands. I can simply step on the back of the shoe with my other foot and slide out.

There’s nothing crazy going on with them in terms of their physical features and in this black and white color they go with just about anything. Additionally, they are very easy to put on with a fairly spacious entry point and very traditional lacing system.When they’re on, they are very straightforward as well. The soft, meshy upper makes for a very comfortable fit at all times with very little in the way of restriction.
