The tread pattern is rugged but not over done. You can walk from pavement to dirt (even grass) with good traction and comfort.Overall, this is a great shoe for all around use. The soles are holding up well under my weight. My favorite part is the unique heel shape in the sole that allows me to slide my shoes off without the use of my hands. I can simply step on the back of the shoe with my other foot and slide out.

After receiving and trying out these shoes, I have very mixed feelings about the product. On the one hand, they are very stylish, springy and I feel supported when I run in them. They do a great job of absorbing road impact, but it does not stand out from the crowd in this regard. Plainly put, acceptable but quite average. The main negative with these shoes for me is the overall breathability of the shoe. Or put another way, the lack thereof. My feet consistently felt hot when wearing these, even when not exercising. I've had other shoes with better ventilation which is a real shame, as they do not look as nice as these Nikes.Overall, I am kinda pleased with these shoes?
