Just got these a few days ago. Took it out immmediately for a short run and they felt great and have a nice bounce. But the fly ease lock on the top of the shoe presses down on the top of my foot. And extremely painful. Can’t wear these for more then 30 mins.

This is definitely a tempo shoe, so the name is appropriate. They still feel great at slower speeds, but a little big and clumsy, and the thick sole feels less stable. I've tried this shoe with traditional lacing. I prefer the look of the Flyease and they go on just as easily as claimed, but they're not as secure as traditional lacing. The upper on these makes me more confident investing in white shoes- they're much easier to clean than flyknit, almost wipe clean with water. Also, they run SMALL! If I got the appropriate size for length, I feel like I'd be swimming in the mid and forefoot of the upper due to lacing. I'm returning and hoping the next iteration features a more functional speed lacing system. Comfortable and more stable than I expected. The FlyEase is great for quick 'lace' up and release. Heal lock and step in are great innovations. This is also a fast shoe and will propel you forward - take care to ease into the longer runs to avoid any calf injury as it may alter your run style a little. Mesh top is breathable. A little noisy if not wearing headphones.

I love these shoes! They could only be made better by offering a less restrictive Flyease contraption. It's hard and causes pressure on the top of my foot as I am running at times. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase. I love how wide the sole is because I have bunions and the sole provides great support and cushion. Love it!
Average between 30-50 miles a week, 50/50 road and gravel. I absolutely love the alphaflys but the soles are easily shredded on the gravel. The tempos are excellent shoes but little tight around the ankles. The flyease are much more comfortable around the ankle, easy to put on and off. Now it’s maybe just bad luck but I have bought two pairs and both have had the flyease lacing break. The first pair I decided to keep and just made them into standard laces. The second pair I’ll probably return. Would love to see Nike make this shoe with standard lacing, as for me, would be a perfect running shoe. Also the do squeak terribly, I mean really loud. As I only use them for outdoor running no biggie, but if your someone who would wear these daily then it’s gets irritating ... MoreAverage between 30-50 miles a week, 50/50 road and gravel. no doubt about it, the shoes are damned comfortable, with a great cushion, support, and spring for my cross-fit workouts. The problem is that for the 'step-in' to work, you need to order at LEAST a half size up, if not a full size, if you want to wear a sock. And I've been looking on a literal weekly basis, but apparently Nike doesn't make anything bigger than a 12 in these... Come'on Nike, can I get a 13?!
If you like comfortable shoes, no need to look any further. The technology built into this shoes is amazing! The fit a bit snug, but still extremely comfortable. I loved them so much I ordered another pair in a different color. The support feels amazing! I would recommend this shoe to anyone even if you do not run in them.
The sole of this shoe is the best I've ever had for daily runs - super comfortable for someone who tends to get beat up by the pavement. However, the lace system isn't ready for prime time, IMO. It doesn't consistently cinch in the same places or even uniformly across the foot - it tends to be tighter in some areas than others, often leading to a fair degree of restriction. I love the idea and only wish they actually lived up to the intent of the design.
Wish I ignored other reviews. I went a half size up and it is too large. Now they don't have my size. Makes you wanna run, comfy. Wish I could have used them though.
These shoes are pretty great. I’ve worked out in these pretty often after purchasing and they’ve held great on the treadmill and indoor gym. It snows so no outside running yet.I did go grocery shopping in them when I first purchased them and they make this tapping noise when you walk on hard floor that’s unavoidable no matter what and it gets annoying very fast.I thought to use them for work at the hospital but that noise would make your day bad before it starts so beware.
