Just got these a few days ago. Took it out immmediately for a short run and they felt great and have a nice bounce. But the fly ease lock on the top of the shoe presses down on the top of my foot. And extremely painful. Can’t wear these for more then 30 mins.

This is definitely a tempo shoe, so the name is appropriate. They still feel great at slower speeds, but a little big and clumsy, and the thick sole feels less stable. I've tried this shoe with traditional lacing. I prefer the look of the Flyease and they go on just as easily as claimed, but they're not as secure as traditional lacing. The upper on these makes me more confident investing in white shoes- they're much easier to clean than flyknit, almost wipe clean with water. Also, they run SMALL! If I got the appropriate size for length, I feel like I'd be swimming in the mid and forefoot of the upper due to lacing. I'm returning and hoping the next iteration features a more functional speed lacing system. Comfortable and more stable than I expected. The FlyEase is great for quick 'lace' up and release. Heal lock and step in are great innovations. This is also a fast shoe and will propel you forward - take care to ease into the longer runs to avoid any calf injury as it may alter your run style a little. Mesh top is breathable. A little noisy if not wearing headphones.

I'm usually a 10 but they arrived and seemed tight and the FlyEase function was not all that easy. I exchanged for a 10.5. The fit improved but the FlyEase function still does not seem as smooth as it's made to be. I'm releasing and tightening as shown but I still have to put quite a bit of pressure on the heel and rock back and forth to get my foot in the shoe. They are very comfortable and probably the most cusioned shoe I've ever owned.
Average between 30-50 miles a week, 50/50 road and gravel. I absolutely love the alphaflys but the soles are easily shredded on the gravel. The tempos are excellent shoes but little tight around the ankles. The flyease are much more comfortable around the ankle, easy to put on and off. Now it’s maybe just bad luck but I have bought two pairs and both have had the flyease lacing break. The first pair I decided to keep and just made them into standard laces. The second pair I’ll probably return. Would love to see Nike make this shoe with standard lacing, as for me, would be a perfect running shoe. Also the do squeak terribly, I mean really loud. As I only use them for outdoor running no biggie, but if your someone who would wear these daily then it’s gets irritating ... MoreAverage between 30-50 miles a week, 50/50 road and gravel. Love these shoes!! I’ve been trying to get a pair of flyease shoes since the first pair was introduced, and had been eyeing these specifically over the months as they went in and out of stock. I recently got some of the Nike air zoom type, and was truly amazed at how comfortable they were and how much spring they put in my step. These are JUST as comfortable and have the heel back step for sliding on and off. I used to be very athletic so I know how important a solid shoe is, but I’ve been disabled for the last 5 years and really needed some legitimate sneakers with both support and comfort while being slip ons. I can’t always grab my shoes, go sit down, put the shoes on, and then stand back up because of how much energy it takes out of me, but these shoes help ... MoreLove these shoes!! I can’t always grab my shoes, go sit down, put the shoes on, and then stand back up because of how much energy it takes out of me, but these shoes help eliminate those extra steps !As for size, I’m generally a 9.5 in dressier shoes, and a 10 in sneakers or dress shoes that run small. I ordered these in a 10 and they are tighter/smaller than I expected, probably could’ve gone a half size up, but they still fit well enough for me to keep them.
no doubt about it, the shoes are damned comfortable, with a great cushion, support, and spring for my cross-fit workouts. The problem is that for the 'step-in' to work, you need to order at LEAST a half size up, if not a full size, if you want to wear a sock. And I've been looking on a literal weekly basis, but apparently Nike doesn't make anything bigger than a 12 in these... Come'on Nike, can I get a 13?!
I bought these shoes because they came recommended, online for tarsal tunnel syndrome after a bad fall and break of my foot.I was taken back on how share the tops of the shoes are. I can literally see the tops of my feet in them. There’s a hard plastic molding around the back of the feet, above the heels, that can begin to feel uncomfortable overtime, and the shoes seem to tighten up even more, the more you walk in them. I’ll have to return them. I’d like the cushioning under the feet, but the top parts of the shoe seems to run narrow.
Great shoe. Definitely size up 1/2 size from regular shoe size. They are fly ease so the fit is super easy and the comfort is a 10/10. Awesome look and really a cloud-like feel. I can't wait to get them in blue or black as the white color is a bit tough when you have a German Shepherd who loves to run in the mud. Don't hesitate to buy these shoes.
These shoes are pretty great. I’ve worked out in these pretty often after purchasing and they’ve held great on the treadmill and indoor gym. It snows so no outside running yet.I did go grocery shopping in them when I first purchased them and they make this tapping noise when you walk on hard floor that’s unavoidable no matter what and it gets annoying very fast.I thought to use them for work at the hospital but that noise would make your day bad before it starts so beware.
