Cute but not for those with wide feet.

I had been eyeing these for a while but was skeptical because of how narrow they look. Unfortunately my eyes were correct. As someone who has wide feet it can be difficult to find sneakers that fit comfortably. I am usually either a 7 or 7.5 in shoes. I always size up to a 7.5 if I see something is not wide and it works. For these I ordered them in an 8 and they were still way too narrow. I was sad because I really wanted them to work but unfortunately these are not wide foot friendly. Super cute but not for me.

Gorgeous and versatile sporty/casual sneax

What I always have an eye out for are shoes that are both sporty and presentable when casual attire is called for -- and that fit me comfortably. These Blazers solidly meet my 'sporty casual' criterion, are super comfy, and (to my sexagenarian eye at least) are classically gorgeous. From a practical point of view, I'm anticipating that the exposed foam will need attention over time, as will the laces after lots of tie/untie cycles through those 20 eye holes. The classic basketball tread affords great grip, though a challenge to keep dirt free with any outdoor use. Lastly, from a wear standpoint I recommend avoiding high-mileage days on these soles.

Loving the Nike Blazer line of kicks

If you know these sneakers, you generally know that these are a stylish pickup right now. I like the leather outer construction and the smooth inner lining around the ankle. Some of the Blazers have the cloth lining around the ankle, but I like the smooth pleather interior. The only negative about Blazers is the completely flat footbed. If you need any arch support, you'll need an insole. I use the Super Feet Blue multi purpose insoles which makes the Blazers perfect.

Next (Natural) Level Shoes

The Nike Blazer Mid '77 Next Nature are truly next level shoes for my daughter! At first she wasn’t sure about the color (friends have the standard white leather with a black Nike swoosh), but the natural grey/blue color grew on her quickly. Stylish and comfortable!

The Nike Blazer Mid '77 Vintage is everything a good sneaker should be. A classic design that is simple yet stylish, and has stood the test of time for decades. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and they only get better as you break 'em in. Versatile enough to look great with any casual or smart-casual outfit. Finally, they come at an affordable price point (especially when on sale), so you can look sharp without breaking the bank. I've purchased several pairs of these sneakers in various colours, and they are among my favourite shoes in my wardrobe. I highly recommend trying a pair!

The Lightest Sneakers

I was amazed when I tried these on. They are so much lighter than they appear. I can wear these for a long time without a problem. No pressure around the ankles but a good enough fit where it's not loose. Once laced and tied up, they fit just right. The comfort is excellent, and even after long walks around the city, I didn't feel fatigued. For anyone that have own a pair of Nike Blazers whether lows, mids, or highs, this model is the same fit, feel, and look as any other but with better materials. I have owned and currently own multiple pairs of Blazers, with the low being more of my favorite, and with this pair, the main standpoint is the leather material. It is soft and buttery compared to other GR models. The leather is also pretty durable and not prone to creasing as quickly. In regards to comfort, there is really no significant difference compared to other Blazer models. It is not like wearing React or Zoom but it is not uncomfortable. It is a flat misole so for those of you who have a high arch, this will not be good for you. I'm more flat footed and so the comfort is good enough for me. Overall, it's a good pair and if you were in the market for GR pair of blazers, definitely go with this one as the leather materials feel much more higher quality.

VINTAGE STYLE means foam tongue on shoe!

I was shocked to see the negative reviews about these Blazer Mids. I know not everyone follows fashion and has brand awareness, but please make sure you're not unjustly bashing. The style of this shoe is Blazer Mid '77 meaning it's styled after the 1977 vintage sneaker- and at that time the foam on the tongue was visible. Be prepared for this design element it is actually part of the character of the shoe! I have these and love them and have received countless compliments. Just be sure you know what to expect if you order. They are fab imo.

These go well with everything, they look great and they’re a timeless style. They look a little ugly from the wearers perspective, but they look nice, just lace them snug. I purchased three pairs, the all white, the black and white, and the red white and blue ones. They’re all equally uncomfortable and stiff. Exact same materials regardless of the price point. They’ll be a pain in the butt to break in as it’s not real leather, it’s more of a plastic that’s painted and it has a leather pattern pressed into it. The suede might be the only piece of real leather but it’s such a loose grain that it falls apart. The sides covering the ankles are STIFF but it does provide support for something like lifting if that’s what you need them for. They’re not very wide food friendly but if you loosely lace them they’ll be on par with the width of a Chuck Taylor 70. Im normally an 11.5 in new balances and most Nike shoes but i sized up to a 12 since I have a wide foot and it made a huge difference since your normal size will pinch your foot a little bit when you take a step. The insoles are very plain, cushionless, and flat and provide no support (great if you don’t need it). Nice looking shoes, just don’t expect a lot of comfort or flexibility out the box. I’m sure there’s a very premium leather version of these, but they’re more of a $60-80 shoe in my opinion. Not worth the $105 price tag at all.
