I have always been a fan of the Cortez design and this new pair does not disappoint. When I initially tried them on they were snug, but they broke in relatively quickly. The fit is true to size. They are comfortable and provide great support. What I like most is the style of the shoe, starting with the shape. To me the shape is a mix between causal and athletic. This makes them easy to pair with many different outfits. The leather is soft and smooth, giving the shoes a refined, sleek look. I also like that the while the main colors are white and black, there’s a pop of blue that adds a special touch. I am enjoying these greatly look forward to getting more in different colors.

The Nike Cortez shoes are a great everyday shoe that looks great and feels great. The shoes have a great retro look with the large Nike logos and great upper shoe style. I normally wear shoes that don’t stand out, but these shoes with their bright white leather, shiny Nike logos, and blue trim along the bottom make me proud to wear a shoe that does stand out. I felt well supported in these shoes, and the tread seems to have great grip.I’m very pleased with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone looking for a hip new athletic casual shoe to wear. They have great style and also great comfort. The retro tread style reminds me of something my grandparents wore, but in a way that doesn’t make me feel old, but instead trendy. The only thing I would maybe change is the tread pattern. It provides fantastic grip, but it also appears to have great grip for keeping mud in the tread. I will need to make sure I wear these on dry days or pavement to prevent mud for getting stuck in the tread grooves. That is a minor annoyance, and all in all I think these are great shoes. Glad Nike brought these back. Been my favorite since childhood. Seems like they made it better from when it was last out. I got the black and white pair and before the toungue seemed kinda short, barley went past the last lace hole, now it’s about 3/4 and inch longer. Over the Cortez feels better than before. Got my pair and my daughter loves her pair. Always go half size up. (I’m usually a 9, had to get 9.5)

They were comfortable to wear, however the issue is that they run narrow particularly in the middle. I do not have wide feet nor do I need to buy wide shoes. I could feel the middle of my feet not having stability as the middle sole was too narrow. I could also see the middle of the shoe was protruding out as well. Though they run narrow they still felt comfortable. As many of Nike's shoes, you can see and feel the quality. I have not worn them for an extended period of time so that comfortability factor may change. As I would wear these for mainly fashion, sadly I would not be wearing them much. The Nike Cortez shoes are a vintage shoe in the modern day and you must have them. They are very comfortable and stylish but still simple enough to wear daily. They are comfortable and can be worn while taking a walk or on a night out with friends. They are easy to clean up if you get a scuff mark on them. I feel like you can always make them look brand new! I feel these shoes run smaller as they were tight on my foot compared to other shoes I have in the same size. These are the perfect shoe for spring and summer.
