Nike’s latest earth-conscious innovation, the Crater sole, which incorporates grounded-up scraps of Nike materials, is taking on a new silhouette. In April 2021, Nike introduced the Crater Impact. The Nike Crater Impact keeps the Swoosh’s sustainability initiatives rolling, bringing a running-forward design to the growing Crater series. The upper is composed mostly of a Summit White mesh and a Grey Fog-threaded Nike logo on the side panels. Hits of Hyper Crimson appear throughout, bringing more brightness to the light-colored sneaker. Lastly, the quintessential Crater Foam sole adds more cushion between the feet and the ground to reduce impact to the runner. The Nike Crater Impact released in April of 2021 for $110.
