Female Purchase: This is my second pair, but in a different color. I like them because they are stylish - and extremely cool, especially in the summer. It’s mesh material exposes my gold toe ring and bright polish on my toes. I receive mad comments from men and I LOVE IT!!!Runs true to size and okay for comfort. Not suitable for running/jogging - LEISURE ONLY!

Airy Nike's. Perfect for warm SoCal Days.

The shoes are mesh, which I expected. I can wear them without socks but my toes will show in sunlight...not a big deal. I prefer them with small no-show socks. They're perfect. Styling is very cool, somewhat Japanese. These are not running or working out shoes...just for looks and in LA, that's all that matters.

Comfortable but runs a little big

This is a very lightweight and comfortable shoe. I always wear a size 12 with Nike shoes but this one is about a half size big. It's super breathable so you're going to see your socks through the toe box area and the sides of the shoe. It's not a huge deal, but if your socks have a design on them you will definitely see it. This is more of a summer shoe. Nevertheless, I love the looks and the comfort.

Great but not for cold
13 February 2021

Great shoe, great style. Only negative thing that's not in description is that it is a very light material shoe, especially on the top. I use it for walking but found out that if it is a chilly morning there's really no protection from the cold. Its definitely a very breathable shoe. But once the day warms up a little its perfect for taking walks.

Nike DBreak Type Review
30 July 2022

I was recently looking for a pair of casual day-to-day sneakers. I have several pairs of Nike Air Max sneakers. But this time around I wanted something that wasn’t to flashy but still had a sporty look. My black Nike DBreak Types fit the bill. These sneakers are super comfortable, stylish and look good with a pair of jeans. If anyone is considering a pair, then hopefully my Nike DBreak review will help them out.

No Sock Shoes?
3 September 2021

Does anyone else wear these without socks? This style is so retro. They are comfortable without socks since the mesh is breathable. I have sweaty feet, so I have been very frugal with these wearing with gold bond powder and only for gatherings and light activity and not for athletic or strenuous activity. The style alone is why I bought both colors for summer styling.

Not as happy as i thought I’d be
15 July 2021

Color is ILL but the shoe is not quite like a regular daybreak. This model fits big on me and the tongue is longer than a regular daybreak. Thinking of returning sneaker and I’m a big daybreak supporter, but these I don’t know smhP.s. i can feel the stitching on the right side of shoe which makes it annoying to disregard.

Oh gads did I *want* to love these shoes!
18 September 2021

Had loads of Nike Daybreaks back in the 80's, swore by them, only shoe I'd wear and run with. LOVE the waffle treads. When I found these, both style and waffle I flipped out - HAD to get a pair.Visually they're awesome, but on the feet, just not right. sole seems to wander on my feet no matter how tight I tie them. They run big, and Nike *never* runs big on me - very surprised. Didn't expect tons of support from the mesh, but did think they'd hold my feet, but alas, they did not. Love love LOVE the style, wish the execution was there to match.

Retro Runner
18 May 2020

The Daybreak has quickly climbed to the top of my list. I love the retro look and Nike has made sure to make these extra comfy. They go with everything and are some of my most complimented pairs. I have 4 colorways of the regular Daybreak but when I saw the N.354 I had to grab a couple. The N. 354 seems to run a half size big so don't be afraid to go down a half size. I have a little room in my 13.

Weightless and Fresh
5 January 2021

Very lightweight but sturdy shoe; usually durability and form is something you give up with a lightweight shoe but not here. The colors and materials are very clean. To my eye, the shoe from afar looks like a powder blue, and up close it’s more of the wolf grey the site suggests; the two tone aspect is cool in my opinion. If you have larger ankles, the leather backs might eat at the skin on the back of your feet, which is something to keep in mind. Would recommend as an everyday, walking casual shoe to keep your neutral fits clean.
