Originating as part of Nike’s “Be True to Your School” pack dedicated to some of the most successful college basketball programs of the mid-80s, the Dunk will forever be tied to basketball, especially when Nike imagines the shoe in colorways like the “University Blue. ” While not affiliated with the school, the “University Blue” draws directly from the North Carolina Tar Heels’ team uniform colors. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel display crisp white leather. Contrasting University Blue leather graces the forefoot, eyelets, heel, and Swoosh. The two-tone color block mirrors the style cadence of the Dunk’s original college basketball-inspired colorways.
