Good bag with lots of pockets. The top pocket is great for you phone, wallet, etc. Unfortunately it's not quite as big as the older Elite hoop bags. It's tough to get a men's basketball and your basketball shoes in there which to me, is the whole purpose of a basketball back pack. I have to jam the shoes in by bending them.

I bought this backpack for my son for school. He needed an extra large one. It’s only been 5 months & both zippers have broken to where it’s not usable anymore. Very disappointed in the quality giving how expensive this cost. We had a large Nike backpack prior to this which held up for 2 years. He has to carry a lot around for school & it was perfect & durable. That is the one I originally wanted to buy, but could not find anymore.I am now out the money since I cannot exchange or return this item now since it has been too long, but this backpack should have held up so much longer than 5 months. Going to have to go with a different brand now.

Not quality of our previous version. Purchased 40 days ago and my wife (not kid) broke the main zipper. Looked closely at it and the zipper is extremely small and not fitting for the abuse of larger items in the bag. Contacted Dicks only to be informed that sorry, even though they have a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, they do not stand behind broken zippers as this is considered worn. Dicks told me to contact the manufacturer.
I bought a month ago and I’m so happy with it has plenty of storage. I use the main pocket to store my soccer ball cleats and cones to practice with. It has a laptop pouch and a penicil pocket as well as a back pocket for books. Two large pockets and the air straps are so comfortable.
There are not many options when looking for a basketball bag. This is the second Nike bag as the zipper broke on the first one. This bag is just OK. To maintain traction on the courts basketball sneakers are never worn to practice or games. My daughter can just fit a basketball and her size 8.5 basketball sneakers. If she goes up a size they won't fit. IF she has to carry her basketball separately, then she can just through her sneakers in a draw string bag. No point in a back pack that doesn't fit ball and sneakers.
This bag seduces us with its plentiful storage and sexy style. We want to love this bag, we want this relationship to work. We give this bag every chance with each new purchase but it still lets us down every time when the front zipper calls a forever retirement.In other words...the main zipper on the front of the bag has broken on this bag each time we've purchased or have been gifted this bag. Same with other member club members or classmates that have used it. It's sexy and works fine for a while but hasn't lasted very long. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as use. The bag claims it can handle it on a pro level. It can't, these are kids ;-) Buy with caution. This time we got smart and contacted Nike warranty.
I bought this for my grandson. He is very active and has a lot to carry, sports gear, shoes, books you name it. It is a large backpack. I was pleasantly surprised! Best if all it is well made. Has secured pickets and dividers. The padding on the shoulder straps are extra cushiony for comfort. I couldn't be more pleased!!!
Great backpack. My son loved his first one but the zipper broke after heavy use. So we decided to buy another. The only downsize is what was delivered to us was not what was pictured! We wanted the exact one pictured which was a white Nike symbol and black lettered Elite, but we receive a black backpack with grey/silver logo, Elite wording. Very disappointed at that. Over all great backpack otherwise.
Bought two for our middle school boy & high school girl. They both agree it’s a cool pack, probably best for sports but still great for school. Used daily for 2 months.Best features:- cool straps!- impressive water bottle holder accommodates the giant 64-oz bottles they prefer this year since the drinking fountains are out- room for everything they need to schlep (no lockers this year), even boots if they had to- dedicated padded laptop pouchAgain, they agree accessing books is awkward from the duffle-like opening, and that the good far outweighs this access inconvenience.
