As a preschool teacher who is always on her feet more than 8 hours a day chasing kids around, I need comfortable shoes so the day doesn't seem so long. When I got my Nike Fontaka Waffle shoes, I enjoyed their unique style. And I thought they would be super comfortable just by their design. However, As I walked around with them throughout the day, I felt that the back kept slipping off. The size was just my size it was not too big. But being that they kept slipping off, I don't think I would recommend them. I did receive lots of compliments on the style and especially the color.

Add this sneaker to your closet ASAP!!! The Fontaka Waffle is perfect - giving a fashionable, but sporty look with the mix of suede and nylon. The comfort is next level - it feels like I’m walking on air with the foam strategically placed in the heel, which is great for someone like me who has flat feet and also walks a lot due to taking public transportation. They definitely came in handy when I was walking fast to catch the train. I usually switch up my sneakers everyday, not wearing the same sneaker consecutively; but I’ve worn this 4 days in a row!! Also, true to size.

The Nike Fontana Waffle shoes are by far one of the most comfortable sneakers I own. As soon as I put my feet in the shoes, it feels like I’m walking on air. The shoes runs true to size. So you don’t have to size up or down. I have a wider foot and my foot does not feel tight or squeezed inside the shoe. The insoles support my arch and make wearing these sneaker throughout the day a breeze. It does matter if I’m going to work, the gym or enjoying a walk my feet are comfortable. I’ve only purchased Nike’s as running and casual shoes for 15 years. I always wear a size 9. These were WAY too big. They fit at least like a 9 and a half. I’ve never, ever, bought a pair that were size 9 and they not fit me and so that was disappointing. Another reason I only gave 4 stars is that the fabric of the platinum one is like a light blue, it doesn’t appear like that in the photos. However, they are very cute and although too long, the fit was nice and comfortable.
THESE SHOES ARE A MUST!!Your feet will thank you, they’re super comfy to walk in and are soo cute! I’m usually a true 6.5 in women’s and these are true to size, despite all the cushion and foam.The outer material is a nice suede material/ mixed with some waffle knit and the inner cushion is unbelievable. I spilled some water on it and it wiped right off! You’ll feel so lifted and protected in them.These would match any casual comfy outfits and could even elevate a basic look. I wear them with leggings and a sports bra/ crop top and sometimes an oversized sweatshirt.
The Fontaka Waffle Shoes are a cute addition to an athleisure look. Paired with high socks, shorts, and a crop or sweatshirt, these shoes are a great component to the look. They are true to size and very comfy, but feel a bit like they are slipping in the heel when I walk. Nothing that would prevent me from wearing them. however they do not feel completely secure on my feet. The felt material detail and red accents on top of an aqua base color are very aesthetically pleasing. Overall, cute and comfy shoes for a certain look, but probably not an every day shoe.
This is my 2nd pair of Fontana Waffle Sneaker and I love them! My foot is on the narrower side and they fit me true to size. The shoe is very durable and provides great support for every day use but I wouldn’t recommend them for any type of workout. I love how versatile these shoes are and how they truly go with everything. You can go for a more casual look with jeans or leggings and they also look great dressed up with dresses and skirts. Nike did a great job with the design and materials used on these shoes. I highly recommend!
After wearing these shoes I can say wow! They are super comfy, and my new go to for walking also casually running errands. The shoes are not heavy or too bulky so definitely can be worn for extended times without issue! The color is more of a very very light sage, though it looks white in my photo! I wouldn’t recommend these for running because the ankle support is almost non existent. The style is cute I even got a few compliments. The sole in the back that sticks out past the sneaker pretty far does take some getting used to but I find it comforting on my walks as it adds like a rocking effect to my steps. They have a great fit and seem to be perfectly my size! Stylish comfortable and great quality as always!
These run true to size. I normally do a 7.5 or 8 depending on fit. I went with my true 7.5 on these and they fit perfect. They are extremely comfortable and have a unique design. Highly recommend. I will point out that the nike check on the color "Sanddrift/Blackened Blue/White/Khaki" is a very deep navy, not black like I was expecting it to be. It's hard to tell in the photos. Great shoe for fall!
The Nike Fontaka Waffle shoes are super comfortable. When you walk in them it feels like cushion under your feet. They are nice walking and running shoes. I’m a short distance runner, I did try to run some sprints in them, and they were a little heavy. I did a 5-mile run in them, and they felt good on my feet. I love the unique design of the shoe. I like how the bottom of the sole is extended out and the color is different than the rest of the shoe, and the different color Nike signs at the heel of the shoe. They fit true to size I wear a size 9 and I got a size 9 and I’m flat footed. A cute running shoe that you can work out in and dress up with a cute outfit. I recommend them for the comfort and style.
