Hands down, the Metcon 4's are the most comfortable athletic shoes ever. I bought a pair for me (women's) and I liked them so much I bought these for my fiance (men's). He thought his Metcon 2's were great, until he tried these. He now wants to order another pair. They are just so comfortable. They are a bit of a wider shoe but give you support in all the right places. We will also order a pair for my teenage son

I've ordered a larger size to try out and I'm hoping for a better fit and bigger toe box. While I'm in love with it's heel stability, looks, general initial comfort, and versatility, it runs narrow and small in size. Definitely size up. The toe box is a tad smaller than previous models so it will cram your toes into the toe box, which is a huge con and terrible for the health of your feet. Had terrible cramps and pain in the MTP joint following first use (Metcon with running intervals). The shoe basically forced my big toe into my smaller toes creating bunion like pain. Road runner is sending two sizes up to try and I'll leave another review.

These are the best shoes for training. PERIOD. I love these more than the metcon 8. They fit well and perform incredibly when strength training, hiit and full on cardio. I can even sprint in these and they grip well and move well with my foot. It's true to size. You'll need a shoe horn to get in these babies though. I hope Nike keeps this one around and not change the look too much. These are just IT. ILL ALWAYS HAVE THESE!

At first they’re a bit challenging to put on with no tongue. I tried on the first metcon years ago and didn’t like it much. This one is hands down one of the most amazing fitting shoes I’ve had on my feet. I have a high instep so it’s kind of snug though ideally it’s a better lock down for plyometric movements or lateral agility work. Plus the wider base and solid grip it has will help with power and Olympic lifts. A lower drop from heal to toe will make it great for squats as well. This is all just from putting them on the first time! I’m sure once I get to wear them at the gym they’ll be even better!
I read a lot of reviews about training shoes. I tried other brands and wasn't satisfied. Right out of the box I knew I found the one. I immediately wore them for a T25 home workout and felt like I was floating on clouds. Fits like a glove. These offer the perfect combination of support and lightweight flexibility so my feet don't cramp up when I'm jumping around. 10/10 would recommend.
These shoes are my go-to for high-intensity interval training (HIIT). When I first slipped them on, they hugged my feet snugly and felt as cozy as a pair of socks. Despite their seemingly chunky appearance, the midsole is impressively flexible, providing stability and support during my most intense workouts. And the best part? These shoes weigh next to nothing, allowing me to move with speed and agility. I am thoroughly impressed with their minimal yet effective design and would highly recommend them to anyone in search of the perfect workout shoe. If I ever come across a discounted pair, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. Roadrunner sports is awesome. if it were not for the VIP membership i would not have bought these.
They are loverly trainers and very comfortable for working out. However the sizing is poor I have ordered them twice 2 different sizes and still didn’t fit. I’m normally a 5 at Nike but they didn’t fit or the 5.5 they were too tight! I had to return both.I will try size 6 for the last time, there are also very hard to put on very very tight. But they are nice trainers and very light. Do size up if you get them
My workouts include general CrossFit and weight training. I can wear these confidently without worrying about the workout. I did order a size up. Normally I would wear a 9, I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I also wear them as my normal shoe for work as I am PE teacher and I am on my feet constantly. I will definitely be buying another pair in a different color.
My Nike size shoes are 3.5 - 4UK. I chose Metcon 4 because it had stretch around the ankles (like a sock) . (I hate the hard heavy hard collar on trainers and these seem nice and stretchy like Nike Max Bella 5)With Metcon 4, I could not get my feet in because ankle area was too small and hardly any stretch at all! I have slim ankles and struggled with Metcon 4 . So I sized up and still struggled to get my feet in. When I did, the shoes were too loose. The inside is hard and flat and feels horrible. I think these shoes are designed for men's feet! Returned!
