Amazing multipurpose shoe for active women

The Nike Free Metcon 4 Women’s Training Shoe is a perfect all-around shoe for any type of woman. Not only were these shoes supportive enough for my high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts throughout the week, but there were also so comfortable that I chose to also wear them to work daily at the hospital where I am on my feet all day long. The shoe has a thick sole which is a bit different from shoes I have owned in the past but now I understand why I was having comfort issues in the past. The thick sole provides stability that I never realized I needed having a flat foot. The shoe is very attractive and catchy, with the orange and sea foam green hints on the white shoe and shoe base. I was a little hesitant about wearing a white shoe being a pretty active but clumsy person but any dirt that got on my shoe was easily cleaned off. One of my co-workers even accidentally spilled her coffee on the shoes and my pants, and then the coffee wiped off the shoes instantly! I typically wear a size 8 in most tennis shoes but have worn a size 7.5 in most other Nike shoes I have owned. However, I did find this shoe to be true to size as the size 8 fit perfectly. My favorite part was actually that the shoe does not have a tongue. Not having to worry about the tongue moving around, or the laces getting snagged or stuck underneath (the tongue) was definitely much more convenient than I anticipated! I can say with certainty that I would not change anything about this shoe. The Nike Free Metcon4 shoe is an A+ shoe and one that I would recommend to anyone looking for a well-designed and supportive shoe, whether for work or play!

Comfortable and stylish but runs small

I had been eyeing these shoes for a while and finally decided to buy them. Some reviews said they run small, so I went to a local shoe store to try out the fit. I've been wearing Nike shoes for almost two decades and I have been a solid size 8.5 in Nike's women, but had to size up to a 9. The primary purpose of these shoes are for working out, which mainly consists of circuit training and some cardio. I noticed a huge difference in the stability compared to my NMDs. They're more lightweight and provides better stability for pivoting, balancing, and weightlifting. My trainers noticed a difference in my stance as well. I've had these shoes for about a month now but I've worn them to work out about 4 times a week. They're holding up well so far and I love the style. Doesn't live up to the hype
31 May 2022

I bought these shoes because I workout at F45 which is primarily HIIT style workouts. I expected these shoes to have a little bit more support based on everyone's reviews raving about them and they honestly disappointed me. They're as flat and not comfy as my old workout shoes I wanted to replace these with. I went for a walk in these and my feet ended up hurting afterwards. Maybe they're just good for lower body days where you need a flat shoe. But I was very disappointed. I do get lots of compliments on the look of them though. If anybody cares about that part. But if you need a shoe with good arch support or forefoot support/cushion, these are not for you at all. Would not suggest going on long walks or runs in these.

Great pair of shoez
27 October 2022

I walk 4 miles every day and it's important that the shoes I wear are comfortable and supportive. These fit the bill. They are a little taller at the ankle so they are supportive in that area. They are a firmer shoe and don't have the "bounce" that runners need, so there are better choices by Nike for that. They also don't have a ton of arch support but it's definitely sufficient for the "neutral" wearer. Probably the thing I like best is how nice they look ☺️ Though that's not an important feature, it is to me. I like these so much, I probably will be ordering a second pair! They are better than their predecessors - I had to return those a year or so ago - weren't nearly as comfortable!

Great shoes for a varied workout
2 May 2022

These are fantastic cross-training shoes. I have narrow feet with overpronation and have regular foot pain. But these shoes are so solid and comfortable and make working out a breeze. I enjoy using them for both machine and outdoor cardio, and they work perfectly for weight lifting too. I'm hoping to buy another color in the future.Fair warning about the light blue color... On most of my screens, the blue in the photos looked like a light, considerably cool baby blue and the details looked pale yellow. The real shoe is still light blue but has a noticeable greenish tint to it. The Nike logo on the back strap is a very vivid, very cool blue, giving it a bit of an odd contrast to the shade of the warmer blue. Also, the details are all sparkly gold, not pale yellow.

Great weightlifting shoe!!

I've had the Nike Free Metcon 4 shoes for about a month now and I am absolutely loving them for weight training. So far I've used these daily for bodyweight, kettle bell, hand weight exercises and moving boxes and furniture around and feel so stable in them. The Metcon 4 are absolutely comfortable/flexible enough for all day wear and have definitely held up to daily wear. I have weak ankles and my ankles tend to roll in running shoes just walking down a sidewalk, so wearing a shoe with a stable heel is super important to me for any weight exercises and these fit the bill. THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING and so stable yet so flexible for workouts - I've had no issues with ankle rolls - It doesn't hurt that they are also really cute! This shoe IS harder than other shoes to put on, but not impossible - It doesn't have a tongue so I think that may be why. However, I wouldn't count that against this shoe - once it's on it's SO COMFY and SO STABLE.

I love the Nike Free Metcon 4! Straight out of the box, I LOVED the shoes design and colors...the mesh upper part of the shoe is stylish and so are the small neon green and orange accents. When I first put the shoes on, I was worried that I should have sized up. It turns out that it just takes a little getting used to that green elastic band that goes behind your heel. Once you figure out how to pull it out a bit while putting the shoe on, it’s all good! They are great for fast workouts, changing direction quickly, and maintaining stability during jump squats, lunges, and any other fast feet action. While I primarily cross train indoors, I have worn these for the majority of a day (eg leave them on post workout) and find their fit to remain comfortable all day long. Will be getting a second pair!

Style and Comfort!

Nike sneakers have been my go-to workout shoes for years and I owned a previous version of this shoe. I am usually a size 7 and these shoes feel a tad bit tight, but not enough to go up in size. The sole is rigid, but not restricting and is ideal for keeping good balance during weightlifting or bodyweight exercises. It feels too inflexible for running, even for a short distance, so it wouldn’t be good for workouts that involve sprinting or running. I am an active mom who loves to be outside running and I also exercise in the gym. These Nike Free Metcon 4 shoes are beautiful! I love the stylish, sleek, modern design and the white, lilac, and teal colors really pop. I have received many compliments on them already. I was curious about how the shoes would feel once they were on because even though there are laces to tighten them along the front, they are slip-on and there is no way to adjust the opening at the heel where your foot goes in so there is no wiggle room if they are too small. These were a size 7 which is my normal size but I found them just a bit snug when I first put them on. I felt they were a bit tight to put on but as soon as I started moving around in them my feet settled in and they ended up being comfortable overall. I would recommend that people with wider feet size up a bit because they might be too snug for wider feet. They offer a lot of support and bounce during exercise, which I loved. I wore them mainly for exercise so far but have worn them a few times all day and they were comfortable. The thing I like most about this shoe is the sleek design and high quality materials. They seem well-made so I am hoping they will become a staple in my workout routine and everyday wear. I would recommend these shoes but because they are not adjustable at the opening at all, I worry that I may stretch them out too much over time as I break them in further. The only thing I would change is to perhaps add some sort of adjustable feature like a strap on the side to the opening where you put your foot in so that you can loosen and tighten it as needed.
