Wasn’t quite sure at first if these shoes would workout for since I have extremely high arched feet and semi wide. But I love them! Great support for lifting workouts. These shoes are great for movements where you need stabilization when lifting weights or for some hiit movements but they are not for cardio. The color is so cute too!

I fell in love with the Free Metcon 4's and were excited about the 5's coming out. I will have to say the 5's are more comfy than the 4's. The soles have a little more cushion in my opinion and I feel like they give me the right amount of support for various workouts - strength training, cardio, HIIT. These are wider than the average Nike shoes and fit my feet comfortably. Compared to the 4's, I think the sizing is a little bigger. I wear size 11 in the 4's and got the same size in the 5's but they were a little loose so I sized a half size down and they fit perfectly.

They are definitely not for long walks or runs. These shoes are lightweight, but the shoes hug your ankle area, so when you walk, you can feel the back of the shoe rubbing on your ankle. I used them on the treadmill for 5 miles: 3 miles walking and 2 running. . . my feet did not feel supported on the sole of my foot. My knees started hurting, too. This shoe is for looks and for steady movement. I am a 7.5 for reference, but sometimes NIKE shoes can be tight in certain styles. For reference, I purchased the size 8 in women's and they fit well.
Not like previous Nike trainers I’ve had, at first I felt half a size bigger was too big, but my normal size was too small. Decided to try the half size, felt they needed to be broken into, after a couple of wears with plasters on the heels, these are now fine.I wear them for hiit training and weights. Find they give me enough support, wouldn't recommend running distance in them. Comfy, but a little overpriced
If you are on the fence about buying these- just buy them. I’m in between 7-7.5 in other shoes and the size 7 fit me great. (Some of the other reviews say that they run small but that wasn’t the case for me). I got them in the violet/plum purple color and they are so cute & feminine (the color is not loud at all). I’m very pleased with the shoes. Looks great with shorts & leggings
I love those shoes. They're very stable when lifting weights or doing squats and relatively lightweight. I also tried them for aerobics and they're great. Excellent cushioning for jumps and plyometrics. I had to break them in a bit, but they feel amazing. They don't move around so my ankles are protected and the flexibility on the sole makes lunges a breeze. They have a fantastic grip. Best training shoes I have owned so far. Love them so much!!! I bought 3 pairs, which I normally don't do in the same style. But, they're so perfect, and it's hard for me to find training sneakers that feel, perform, and look great at the same time.
Honestly and truly suuuuch a good gym shoe. Not only do they look sick but they provide such a solid and supportive base for lifting, deadlifts, squats, split squats you name it these shoes just perform. I wouldn't wear them on a run, but on the stairmaster and incline walks are still great. My order arrived quickly and came with such a cute card which I loved.
