The Nike free Metcon 6 shoes have become my new favorite shoes to work out in. I love how much support the shoe offers and how breathable the material is. I find them very comfortable to do strength training or cardio on the stair master, this shoe provides optimal stability and comfort. I really like the design of the shoe and how Nike placed the swoosh logo, I have gotten so many complements on them.

Cute online, but unattractive in-person. The wide toe box is comfy. But, I hate the look of these compared my older Metcon 4 and 5’s. They look extremely wide because they are made of some type of scuba-like material that doesn’t conform to the shape of the foot and gapes near the arch (which, by the way, sits oddly on this version). I typically LOVE Nike shoes and own many. But, frankly, I am shocked that these were released.

The Nike Free Metcon 6 is literally the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Comprised of a lightweight/pliable/breathable material, yet sturdy base makes them a perfect shoe for both cardio and weight training. The greatest thing about this shoe is that they’re easy to pull on and the laces stay tied. Additionally, they come in several fun colors making it easy to remain fashionable when transitioning from gym activities to running errands, stopping to get coffee with friends, going to a sporting event, pop-up shop or farmer’s market without having to worry about changing shoes.

I never write reviews, but the automatic comfort I got from this shoe was so great, life changing for me! I have large/ flat feet, which equals spreading , which equals hard for me to find a shoe with any support or comfort!! Great product!!! I will be buying more in all those fun colors!!! I am just soo happy with the fit!
Was never a fan of traditional training shoes. They were too stiff and rigid for my liking. I feel the Metcom free strikes a good balance between support and solid shoe for weight training but also comfortable enough to do some light cardio on a treadmill or elliptical. Nike struck a good balance with this shoe as an everyday gym shoe. If you don’t want to switch back and forth between a supportive weight training shoe and a running shoe , the Metcom free is a good compromise between both.
I have been wearing the Metcon Free 6 workout shoes for the last 2 weeks. I have worn them casually, for outings around town as well as for work. I have also worn them for my daily workout routines and my short evening runs. I have had a previous ankle injury that required surgery to correct, so comfort and support are imperative for me when it comes to choosing shoes. I genuinely like that the design is similar to the previous Metcon 5’s, just with a bit more fabric. I have found that, for myself, the material is actually quite breathable. I’m not saying I have sweaty feel, but they’re definitely staying dry. I have also stepped in a puddle, resulting in them getting wet and was very pleased with how quickly they dried. I also found that the Metcon Free 6 are a lot more flexible that its predecessor, the 5’s. Making the Metcon Free 6, in my opinion exceptionally more comfortable while also providing the support of require. An example of one of the features I love is the improved sole, its soft without being too soft white still offering hardy support making my work outs and runs more comfortable and enjoyable. Let me also add that there is one feature I would love to see improved, the new shoelace loops have me questioning their durability. They seem really frail and flimsy and I feel like with the slightest bit of resistance that they will rip. In conclusion, I really like these shoes, and I would recommend them to my fellow training community
These shoes are comfortable. I initially thought they would start hurting quickly because they were a bit stiff. I wore them all day and didn’t have to switch them out. They are lightweight and stable. I wore them to workout and I had good balance during my routine. They have quickly become a daily wear for me. I typically need to change my shoes after long wear, but these I feel fine. I also think the design of the shoe is interesting and intriguing. I would recommend buying these.
I have both Metcon 5 and Metcon 6. I love Metcon 5 and that's the main reason I want to get the newer one and hoping this is an upgrade for M5. I think I like the M5 better. M6 missing the curve detail and look bulky. Overall, I think the material, detail, and the construction of the M6 is a little cheaper than M5. I would go back to Metcon 5 for my next exercise shoes. Having said that, I like the color choice of M6.
These have been great for my gym workouts! They fit true to size and are easy to slip on, even with thick socks. They feel a lot more flexible than the 5’s, my feet can bend more naturally for floor workouts, like pushups. They are also great for squats; I feel stable and supported. I wouldn’t recommend them for long runs, I would prefer a running shoe with more cushion, so I stick to 2-mile runs or less in these.
I love my metcon 4s but they were 2 years old so opted to get the new 6s. They don’t feel the same. They feel wider, bigger, and your feet/ankles don’t feel as secure (even though I got the same size as my previous shoes). I’ve tried to tie them tighter and it still doesn’t help, and there’s a ton of bunched up extra material on the sides. Not sure why Nike changed the body of the shoe.
