Nike Free RN 2018 Wolf Grey

Take your run to the next level with the Nike Free RN 2018. This lightweight running shoe is designed to keep all the benefits of the previous generation, but update features to help you stay even lighter on your feet. The breathable upper, lightweight midsole, and flexible outsole work together to allow a snug fit and natural stride. Circular-knit, spandex upper is designed to provide a fit that is snug, flexible and breathable. Laces are made with spandex for the perfect one-to-one fit that doesn't slide around. Flywire is integrated into all eyelets except for the top one to provide maximum flexibility where your foot and ankle naturally flex. Dynamic heel fit system reduces sliding and chafing for maximum comfort. Co-molded midsole included a soft layer of foam along with a firm, springy layer of responsive foam for cushioning that both absorbs shock and supports your feet. Tri-star outsole pattern is made for flexibility that moves with your natural stride.

Best Nike shoe period

After trying on a variety of running shoes from Nike, this is my go-to shoe. I hope Nike never stops making this version. It's low profile with sufficient cushioning, light-weight, breathable and fits like a glove. Size 1/2 up and you are good to go. Love this shoe and I hope they make this exact same version inn different color-ways (I got the all black one)

Hands down my favorite shoes ever. SUPER light-weight and comfortable. I wear them for work, Disneyland, tennis, running, working out, and pretty much anything else. I have 2 colors now and I'm about to buy a third.I don't write reviews often but this shoe honestly deserves 10 stars.

Good looking shoe and comfortable. A couple of issues I have: the backs of the shoe are a mesh material, which is comfortable while walking/running, but when I'm driving it becomes a bit uncomfortable because it kinda folds in on itself with the weight on the edge of the heel. The bottom sole of the shoe is designed with little craters in them, which so far seems to catch a lot of rocks and gets stuck. I wouldn't tell someone not to get them, but wouldn't rave about them either. Also, get a half size or full size up from your normal foot size as they run narrow. I've had these for a couple of months at the time of this post.

So probably should preface this with the fact that I am a woman (normally size 10.5) and I bought these in men’s 9.5 for a size 11 women’s.I bought these two years ago in women’s sizing and really wanted a second pair since my first pair got pretty old after about a year. After my first pair of free runs, I got the odyssey react shoes because I was running longer distance, but my foot has a low arch and they gave me the worst blisters (like many other shoes). I decided to come back to these, and wanted to buy a men’s shoe in case they were a bit wider. Turns out they’re pretty much the same as the women’s free run 2018, if not a bit smaller. But they don’t give me blisters on my arch!! Which is still a huge win for me. I love these shoes and how soft they are. I don’t have to take a lot of down time from running because of blisters thanks to them, and I hope Nike stays making soft shoes like this.

As a track runner and tennis player, I got constant use out of these shoes on multiple surfaces. I can honestly say that whether I was running the mile or in an intense rally, these shoes maintained a level of comfort beyond anything I've experienced wearing any other shoes. I quickly wore through them as my preferred day-to-day pair, but even now, with holes in the toes and no soles, I still use them for mowing and I still find them the most comfortable option. Get these shoes! *On a side note, I will be seriously disappointed if Nike discontinues making these.

One Of Nike's Best Sneakers
28 March 2021

I just received my pair of all black Nike Free RN 2018 sneakers after year of not owning a pair of Free RN's and I have to say that these sneakers are just as great as I remember them to be. The Free Rn's cushioning isn't insanely soft like Zoom X or React but I feel like it has a great balance between cushion and firmness, since you are walking directly on the cushion and not a rubber outsole these shoes can deteriorate pretty quickly depending on how much you use them. The light weight nature of the Nike Free RN 2018 and how it moves with your foot to give you that almost bare foot feel are what make this shoe great though. I hope that Nike continues to produce and innovate on this design rather than continuing on with the newer Free RN silhouettes that haven't ... MoreI just received my pair of all black Nike Free RN 2018 sneakers after year of not owning a pair of Free RN's and I have to say that these sneakers are just as great as I remember them to be. True to size is the way to go with these as well if anyone was wondering, maybe up half a size if you have a very very wide foot since it is a sock like fit.

Please keep making these shoes. Way better than 5.0's
15 January 2023

I've had a pair of these shoes since 2019 and can say that they are still the most comfortable shoes I own. They're great for everyday wear as well as weight lifting, tennis shoes, running, etc etc. The soles are starting to get worn down and by no means can they be considered "white" anymore, but they still are multiple levels more comfortable than the Free Run 5.0's I have which have in turn been worn much much less. I also like how they protect your feet from the street better than the shallower 5.0 soles. They can also be worn in light rain and walking through the SMALLEST puddles doesn't drench your feet like the 5.0's. I wish the white color was stocked better tho. Please Nike whatever you do, do not stop making these shoes I'll buy them to the end of time

Shoes are amazingly comfortable!
16 February 2023

I love these shoes. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They feel like slippers, yet they are also supportive and I can walk in them for 5 miles without blinking an eye or being sore.... so why 4 stars instead of 5... well, if I had a nickle for evertime I had to get a screw, or a rock or a million other things out of the sole because it has these perfectly sized catchers mitts to pickup small items on the ground. I really dislike the pattern on the sole. Super annoying. But I still love you NIke free run 2018. And also the laces come undone alot... despite being double knotted tightly.

Sole Mate!
15 February 2023

Best shoes I have ever owned!!! They are perfection, nice clean style and the comfort level is off the charts. I can literally wear these all day. I've own many different brands and styles, nothing compares to these. The upper portion of the shoe fits like a sock and the cushion and flexibility of the soles are second to none. Fantastic stability, I've had some shoe with maybe equal cushioning, but lacked both flexibility and stability. I have this model in 3 different colors, I hope that nike will continue to make this model forever!!!

Wearing clouds
25 November 2022

I own 4 pairs of these shoes and can EASILY say that the 2018 model is THE best Freern model they’ve ever made. I own a grey pair, two black and one white. I am trying to convince my wife to get me a red pair. If she doesn’t, then I’m going to anyway! Extremely comfortable, feels like you’re just wearing socks. Comfy for walking distance but my feet are wider so they do get fairly uncomfortable after awhile. To be fair that happens with all shoes for me though. Material is durable, very lightweight and stylish. Cannot recommend enough. I typically buy a pair of these every year and have since they came out.
