Nike Free RN 5.0 Men's Running Shoe - Red

Free is Hard to Beat If your running style leans toward the shorter-distance sprinter's end of the scale, the lightweight Nike Free RN 5.0 running shoe was made for you. Its stripped-down design includes a single-layer, stretch mesh upper with a second-skin feel and minimal foam in the midsole to provide a tangible ground-contact sensation. The absence of a heel counter adds freedom of movement while maintaining a firm fit. Nike Free RN 5.0 features: Ultralight mesh upper provides maximum flexibility. Offset lacing system reduces pressure on instep. Bootie with integrated tongue gives a seamless fit. Low-density foam midsole promotes a ground-connected feel. Heel-to-toe grooves allow multidirectional flexibility. Precision cuts on outsole and side of midsole optimize flexibility. Rubber pods on forefoot and heel enhance traction.

Best Nike free RN

This are my favorite Nike Free run up to date, for casual wear, gym, work, and running. I got them about a month ago and have wore them about 80% of them. besides the initial breaking in period, they are very comfortable shoes to wear in general, they look great. They feel good with small runs and sprints, and when you are training at the gym. I walk a lot at work, and these shoes are great for that. My only downside is the durability, i have had these shoes for about a month and i have noticed a bit of tearing around the outlines of the shoes unfortunately, and for a shoe that is meant to last since you'll be running in them daily it seems a bit disappointing. Other than that, they're great shoes and i would get myself another pair.

I got these having doubts that they would compare to my Free Run 4.0 from a few years ago but definitely have become my everyday gym shoe. running at the gym doesn't suck as bad now. got a size 13 not knowing if the 12.5 would have enough toe wiggle room. definitely runs a little big which is nice for a change with Nike. would absolutely get another pair of these!

Good pair of running shoes indoor or outdoor

These were great running indoor on treadmill. They were comfortable and provided sufficient cushioning. Now with COVID19, I am running more outdoor and the shoes are still holding up well. I just switch to a Pegasus 36 shield and I feel they provided more feedback when running outdoor. Probably going to switch between them to made both last longer.

Heel just isn't secure
5 April 2020

I actually didn't buy this shoe off the Nike store because the color I wanted wasn't available. This shoe looks great! Feels pretty good, I didn't get to run in them because it was raining. I wore them around the house a bit, and immediately noticed the heel wasn't very secure. There isn't much support in the heel area, and I was afraid my heel would slip when I ran. So, I returned them. This shoe didn't work for me, but it looks really cool. I suggest you try them on in the store, then buy them.

Minimalist Sneaker
6 February 2020

I ordered a half size bigger, however they were still snug (narrow) in the toe area, so I returned & bought in mens size & they fit better. I needed wide width & they don't come in wide. If you need wide go to the mens size. Overall, they are minimalist type of sneaker, no sock or thin sock. Nice looking sneaker & great price on sale. Quick ship.

Nike Free Run.
25 January 2024

Absolutely love this edition of the Nike Free. The shoes are very light and form tightly to the feet increases in agility, reaction time, and enhances the closeness to the surface as a runner. A+ guys ! Plus, the fast shipping and cute clear packing was thoughtful.

Surprising feel
8 August 2019

First of all, I like them. I wear 10's, felt kinda snug in the toe. Sizing up to 10.5. The heel design is amazing and comfortable. The insole is thin and comes out when you take the shoe off... sort of annoying, but I can live with it. Overall, they feel good, have a nice bounce and are super light. As for the preset ratings (Size, Comfort, Durability), I can't speak to durability because I've only have them one day, so I gave it an "Average".

Very Comfortable- Bad Construction
30 July 2019

I purchased these shoes within the past 30 days and have worked to break them in, some might not thing they need it but it helps when they get molded to your foot. Overall love the free run feeling of this shoe. The fit is great but the construction is lacking. The bottom pieces have already started to separate and come apart. This is not something I would expect from a show especially since I am not hard on my shoes. This should be address as wearing these shoes for less then 30 days and they are already coming apart.

Worst Nike Shoe I've EVER Tried On
8 February 2020

This is by far the most uncomfortable and cheap feeling Nike Free RN shoe I've ever tried on. It has a super tight fit and has zero softness in the heel or forefoot and was super uncomfortable, I could not wait to take them off. I wouldn't even wear them if they were given to me for free. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES. Anyone saying anything else is completely lying or has never put these shoes on.
