These shoes do the job! I use the black versions for work. As an overnight Inbound Operations Leader. It requires you to be on your feet running around non-stop! I use the white version for my gym time. From lifting, running & playing racquetball. They allow me to move freely cutting back & forth, side to side with ease.As far as maintaining cleanliness. I have even thrown in the washer & dryer. Works great. The only complaint about these shoes. Is the small swatch of cloth on the heal. Gradually after time it breaks down & rips. If they would have used same material as the rest the shoe. It would have been so much better!

The last Nike Free Run model is better. The soles are undergoing unexpected wear and tear after 1 week of just walking around, a result of using lightweight material. Very comfortable, a little on the tight side but it gets worked out with use. The last Free Runs were more built to last and just as comfortable/lightweight. I'm not a fan of stretchy fabric on the dorsal shoe surface. It's too pliable for a "running" shoe, a lot of wasted energy, too much give. I didn't expect these to have that. If you can find a pair of the old Free Runs get those. If not, these will be more than satisfactory while they last

Love these shoes. Very comfortable. Feel super snug on your feet without having to tie them very tight. I have been a long time fan of the Nike Free and these feel very similar to previous shoes. I would say they feel even lighter than previous iterations. Only thing is that the laces are very very thin so harder to unlace and feel like the dig into the shoe a bit more. But once I started running I couldn't tell. Would buy again.

Has great style for both exercise and even wear in the office.Compare to Free Run 2018:- lightweight- improved shoelaces reduced the likelihood of loosening- have reinforced pieces on the soles making them more durable- less likely to stick small stones in the soles- less likely to make a loud noise when walking on the ceramic/marble tiles
Maybe the most comfortable Nike running shoe I ever bought. And stylish!!! Loved this show so much I bought 2 additional pairs in different colors. And then I started to wear them and the same issue happened with all 3 pairs, which is consistent with many other reviews. They fall apart. The mesh area around the heel rips from the sole of the shoe. Happens after only a couple months. Very disappointing. I've filed claims direct with Nike.
Really love these shoes! Thought the box they came in was empty because they are so light. Got them as just indoor/treadmill shoes and so far so good after a few weeks. Super comfortable, almost feels like you are barefoot. Got a half size larger than normal after reading some reviews and they are snug but toe has a little to much room, the way they fit makes them a little tough to get and and like I said snug but I'd say they run pretty true to size.
I actually just bought these shoes today 4-8-22. I absolutely love them, they fit my feet like they are slippers. Believe me, I LOVE my slippers. I have 2 pairs of Nike Pegasus and hate them both. Pegasus are very narrow at the front, these, they are wide where my toes don't get crushed. The lightness of these shoes, once again feel like slippers. I'm actually getting ready to order any pair, this is how comfortable they are. I'm not a runner, so they will be for casual and work. If any one had bought a pair from Dick's sporting Goods and you had problems with them they will take them back. I have return Nike shoes before with no questions asked. Why I didn't give them a 5 star review, I never give a 5 star review on anything.
PLEASE keep making these (I'll be excited for Run 6.0 too I guess). Like the other reviewer said, these are amazingly comfortable. I was semi-interested in the minimal looks of them when I saw them on the shelf but then tried them on -- seriously felt like molasses softly compressing around my feet. I like how they aren't overly chunky like so many modern runners too. I've only had them for a week so far so can't comment on durability, but I'll probably get another pair in another color just because they are that comfy.I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 and this felt just perfectly snug in 11, so it's between "runs small" and "just right."
I had been looking for a super comfy shoe to replace my OG flyknit trainers and these are exactly what I needed. Can easily slip them on and go. I even enjoy wearing them in the house as they feel like socks and I like being able to quickly go outside to the mailbox or hop on the bike for a quick ride. I don't run much anymore but I walk a ton and ride my bike daily and these are great for that. Worth the buy, just not sure about the durability aspect, if you are concerned about that you may have concerns. Personally I don't care and I'll prob order a second pair to have as a backup when these are beat up, I can't stop wearing them
I am 67 years old, 78 kg weight, 1.74 meters height.I run for pleasure about 20k a week, 1 long run and 2 short ones.Externally, the shoe is beautiful and attracts attention. This shoe is supposed to replace my Hoka Bondi 7 shoe. The sole and the shoe are slightly narrower than the Hoka. Because the shoe is narrower, the laces need to be spaced more, so that the foot feels comfortable in them. The laces are rough and didn't open during my first run. The tongue is padded and comfortable, although too short for my taste. The first impression of the footwear, is the softness and the soft return when stepping. I felt a little unstable, due to the narrower shoe. During the run itself, I had to get used to the slightly different running which is different from a shoe ... MoreI am 67 years old, 78 kg weight, 1.74 meters height.I run for pleasure about 20k a week, 1 long run and 2 short ones.Externally, the shoe is beautiful and attracts attention. I felt a little unstable, due to the narrower shoe. During the run itself, I had to get used to the slightly different running which is different from a shoe with a wide and flat sole like the Bondi. I don't know if it's the shoe, or because of the improved weather, which was today at 6 am, less hot and less humid, but I finished a 9.4 km run, in a good result, that I haven't achieved for a long time. And I have no problem attributing the improvement to the shoe.In conclusion, a shoe that was easy for me to get used to relatively quickly. My confidence will surely increase in the next runs. One thing you should pay attention to, I think the shoe is less resistant to wet surfaces.
