The shoes are gorgeous! They look even better in person! However, halfway through my daughter’s 7th grade season they started to rip. We don’t have enough time to return them. I’m upset I paid $150 for shoes that ripped within 3 weeks.
I am someone who has struggled with twisted ankles my entire playing career. This shoe has the look and style of a low-top, but the support of a high-top. My foot feels very secure and contained with this plush collar and solid build. I am also able to cut and move with ease in these. These shoes truly give your feet extra life on the court!
If you are looking for a shoe that is going to hold you down, the Giannis Freak 6 will be that shoe! The thick upper and tongue helps me feel held in place. Took me a few plays to break them in, but now have changed the game for me! One of my now tried and true favorites! Comfortable, with AMAZING traction! I loved the grip on them, worked great both on clean and dusty courts. I will admit I miss the big backwards Swoosh logo! But the Freak 6 is comfortable, best traction in the game and amazing court feel – a winner in my book!
