In 1991 the Nike Huarache silhouette was born. The inspiration behind the shoe came from the sandals used by native Americans and with the Huarache Nike completely changed the perception of how a shoe should fit your foot. Nike have recreated this iconic sneaker and with this new version Nike have managed to fuse together modern technology and a classic shoe. The shoes upper is made with a combination of textiles and synthetic leather, which ensures good durability. In addition Nike have incorporated a neoprene material, which gives increased breathability and comfort. Furthermore the shoe is made with a unique heel construction, which gives better support and lockdown, so you are always firmly placed in the shoe. The Nike Huarache Run is equipped with a Phylon mid sole, which helps give better shock-absorbency and comfort. Furthermore the outsole is made from a rubber that provides a good grip on the surface.
