I love love love my Nike React Infinity Run women’s running shoes! I’ll start by saying I sometimes have trouble with the fit of Nike shoes because they tend to be a little more narrow for my wider foot. I did not have that issue at all with these shoes! They are wider at the top which makes them very comfortable. They also have a lot of padding in the soles, which is something I am always looking for. I do a combination of running and walking most days and since I’ve gotten these shoes, I haven’t put back on any of my other sneakers. They are the most comfortable ones I now own. I have ran in several Nike running shoes, and I feel like those are the best shoes for me to test, and this pair was great! My foot is a tad on the wide side, and these shoes felt great! When running, I had proper arch support, but also, when sprinting, I felt that these shoes provided great support on the ball of my foot as well. The laces tie up at the appropriate spot on my foot, which may not seem like something that is normally called out, but I have purchased shoes before where the top lace holes are in the wrong spot and it makes my job very uncomfortable, not here though. For some constructive feedback, my running shoe of choice is the Nike fly knit - This shoe will not replace the fly knit as my preferred shoe as this shoe doesn’t have the stretch I like to feel when running - It isn’t as light as the fly knit or as flexible as the fly knit. Would I purchase this shoe or recommend it - Yes, absolutely! It has great looks, feels great, runs great and it’s my favorite shoe brand for running.

Tried these on in the Nike store yesterday. First impression: heavy and boggy on the foot. Felt like bricks with laces. This strikes me as a lifestyle shoe that is suited for walking or standing, maybe for runners just starting out. Nothing wrong with that at all. Just appears the Nike React Infinity line is moving away from what I would consider a running shoe. In the end Nike still has the AF and VF for serious runners so it’s alright. Just not a fan of heavy training shoe with excessive squishy feel. I will not be running in these. These shoes look cool though and will serve a purpose for others, but just not me.

First thing I noticed was the cushion in the sole and it is amazingly comfortable for long walks or jogs. I've been using these for a few weeks and they have become my favorite jogging shoe. The react cushion is super responsive and hasn't flattened yet and I've used them pretty heavily in the last few weeks. The new woven material in the toebox is much more snug and doesn't get loose with extended wear. I've noticed sometimes these type of woven sneakers can loosen and let your toe slip forward but it doesn't happen with these. Also the cushion starting slightly further back and rounded helps with contact if your like me amn hard on the heel. Overall the style is suitable for any occasion sneakers are acceptable and isn't overwhelming. When first taking a look at the shoe my husband was not sure this was going to be a good shoe for him. It was different than any shoe he has ever worn. Given this, he was skeptical about how they would feel. He wore them a little each day (an hour, then two hours, then four hours) until he could wear them all day. Now, he likes how they feel when he walks and has gotten used to the higher heel of the shoe. He has not worn them for running yet, but walking has been more comfortable than in his former shoe. Since this is the first shoe of this kind, he does not have any changes he would make. He is enjoying wearing them and they have helped reduce his Achilles pain.
