Maybe it's cause I'm a 90s kid, but lowtop basketball shoes still seem strange to me, as all my basketball heroes growing up wore hightops. These have become one of my go to shoes now. They are very comfortable and breathable, I didn’t hassle putting them on or taking them off. They molded to my feet perfectly I didn’t feel like they were tight. The cushion on the ankle is a life saver I didn’t have a problem with them rubbing against my ankle and causing a blister. I used them to run and play basketball so the cushion on the insole had my feet feeling like I was running on clouds. The color way is great, all the colors look like they wouldn’t go well together but I liked them. My favorite part about these shoes was the box they came in! I haven’t seen a cool box like that in a while, you can see the effort that were put into these shoes. Get a pair while you can just so you can admire the box.

The Ja 1 was stylist and durable as I received multiple compliments just wearing the shoes. I was able to perform on concrete and in the gyms with no problem as the sneaks provided a crazy amount of grip. The toe box area was flat and a little snug with not much room (but is good when playing ball); will wait to see if it loosens over time. The materials were breathable and lightweight making shifty and explosive movements easy. The show was also versatile enough to provide stability during workouts and just wearing for leisure. Overall, I like the shoes and they are very comfortable, if you like more room in the toe box area, I suggest at least a half size up (especially if you wear double or thick socks).
I purchased this particular pair of the Nike Ja Morant kicks because of the Nike brand supporting Ja through his troubles off the court.The fact that Nike never lost faith in Ja and kept his shoes up for purchasing. They are super comfortable and I absolutely love the colorways.I only wish that I would have checked with checked them out on my Footlocker app. I purchased my pair from Stock-X for a few dollar's more. But I could have saved my cash and earned my flex rewards. Live and learn. I won't be making that mistake again. As for the shoes..they are great. I will be purchasing another pair. But from Footlocker this time. 10 out of 10 for the shoes
