I bought these 6 months ago and am quite happy with the comfort level. But I am disappointed with the rest of the shoe. Brand new, the shoe looks great. Within a few days though, the sole of the shoe has completely changed color. IT gets dirty very quickly. Cleaning the bottom is pointless as it will just immediately get dirty again. The clear part to see the beads gets very dirty also. Kind of embarrassing to have such dirty shoes but they are very comfortable.Just recently, I noticed a tear in the inside of both shoes. The little balls are now coming out. I now have duct tape inside both of my shoes to prevent them from all coming out. I am disappointed at how dirty they get and the durability of it. Waiting until the black one's were available and ordered them. I wear 10.5 wide shoes so I ordered size 11 and hoped they would fit. They arrived and fit like a glove. I walked at a faster rate than I've walked in years and all of a sudden as I increased the speed on the treadmill I suddenly took off running...and it felt great! I didn't run too long but when I slowed down to a walking pace it was still at a very fast pace. I just got these 3 days ago! And I didn’t plan on buying them until I tried them on, and they felt so amazing with each step I took, feels like I’m walking on marshmallows lol... I knew this would be a good gym shoe... skeptical about it being a running shoe but even then it didn’t disappoint.I’m conflicted because for the price, I would’ve thought that they would’ve avoided the big problem of the shoe rubbing the back of your ankles. After my run that area was irritated and chafing was present. Yes I got them fitted, so they’re the right size... it’s just the way the shoe was made, if you look atthe picture that part does run low and feels a little uncomfortable when you pay attention to it. The shoe itself is all stretch excluding the bottom and the back. The bead/foam sole design makes your feet feel like you're walking on clouds. I have put these shoes through a lot. The gym, snow, rain, puddles, lots and lots of walking around my school, and a lot of other use to the mall and movies. They are still in good condition, except for the white, which is to be expected. If you want these shoes to stay in their true color when they come out of the box, wipe them down every week with a damp towel. Dont soak, just warm water and some scrubbing harder stains will suffice. I had never purchased high end running shoes before but I decided to take the plunge. The shoes have been great. The are lite, extreme responsive and comfortable. Unfortunately, they are now falling apart. There are wear and tear holes in both heels that the little beads are leaking out of. Beyond the lost performance due to the leakage, I have a small child so I can't even have the shoes in the hose because I don't want him putting the leaked beads in his mouth. If it was only happening on one heel, I could have thought I got a bum pair or it got cut by something, but given that it's both, it seems like a design flaw. I bought them primarily because (1) I loved how the black and green colorway looked and (2) I wanted to try the beads in the toe box. I have to say that my experience has been great. I had no idea these shoes were as comfortable as they are. I read allot of reviews here's the honest truth because I'm heavy on reviews.This shoe fits pretty tight like a sock, you will need ATLEAST a half size bigger even maybea whole size up. I wear 11.5 and got a 12. The beads are ridiculous upon first wearing! Its different, but after 5 minutes they conform to your foot and I put these #1 in comfort in the shoes I own. Over the presto reacts, over vapormax! These joyride Nikes cushion your foot very well and make you want to run they are perfect. Now this review is strictly on casual wear and not actually running. On top of all this they were on sale even bigger score! I will buy my girl a pair and I'll probably get the dual joyrides on sale also. Just do it.
