The durable upper material and rugged underfoot grip give you a consistent, confident stride for your off-road runs. These are great. From what I remember of the original Juniper Trail 1's I had, these feel much improved. This iteration definitely feels a lot more stable with a firmer (but still comfortable) midsole cushion, and a nice rubber outsole with some traction - which should be good for handling trail conditions. I also remember that in the Juniper Trail 1's, the heels bottomed out really quickly, but these feel beefed up there, and again with the firmer foam in the midsole that should mitigate that issue in this version. Materials are alright, it is a more budget trail shoe so don't expect anything too premium, but there's a thicker weave fabric and some fusing towards the outside areas to hopefully boost longevity of the shoe, and a nice breathable mesh along the ... MoreThese are great. Lockdown feels good - there's some midfoot cables to pull the foot down, and extra lace holes up top you can use to draw the foot into the heel of the shoe. For me it does press into my ankle bones just a bit, not painful but noticeable, however I think with time that should wear into shape - as there's good cushioning in that area. Overall feels like a solid trail shoe under $100.

I bought these for my husband who is so selective when it comes to shoes. He is so hard to shop for! I had seen these online but he wanted to try them on so we went in to the Northridge store and while he went back and forth between shoes he finally decided on these. They were put to the test at Disneyland and has now worn them for a few trips to the parks since then and they have held up well. He may get another pair in a different color! He definitely recommends them!

The reason for my disappointment is the embarrassing SQUEAK from the left shoe.I barely used these shoes when all of a sudden a very loud squeak started whenever I take a step.I otherwise absolutely love these shoes. Very stylish and comfortable and versatile for casual wear or sports/running.I was planning on buying these shoes in more colors.

These are my second pair of these fantastic Nike trail shoe. They have a firmer ride than most Nikes but that’s not a bad thing if you intend to use them on trails. Mine are predominantly used on the school runs and dog walks and they’re excellent. As these were in the sale and half price. I bought my son a pair too and he loves his as well. They run a bit small in the width, so would advise to go up half a size or a full one if you have wide feet.
My son's foot grew too fast! We can't keep him in shoes. The price was right for these fashionable shoes. He loves them. Definitely will continue to purchase if his foot gets any bigger (fingers crossed that he is done!). They are true to size and have plenty of cushion.
Not super psyched… Midsole is too firm for my taste. Even though the foam is thick, and I feel a little like I'm on high heels, it provides very little cushioning. Can't feel the trail very well but impacts are hard. I definitely prefer the first version of the Juniper which I had two pairs of. This one might last longer. Even more so because I don't want wear them!
My 3rd pair. Very comfortable. Was't sure of the white and yellow. But it looks good even on my size 14 foot. I wish the tongue was white instead of the tannish color. It will make a difference in what I wear with the white shoe. The shoe runs about a 1/4 to 1/2 size big which causes some socks to slide down. I own all the colors of the previous Juniper Trail 1's. Review would be 5 stars if not for those two issues.
Man I was wearing the same pair of shoes for two years and was wondering why my legs were killing me everyday. I decided to buy these and maybe it’s just cause it was new shoes but man they changed everything for me. I can squat more run more jump more now. Graduated moved out and started working recently so I haven’t worn them in a while since I been wearing nicer shoes for work. Put them back on once I got a gym membership and realized I need to write a review about how good they’ve treated me ahaha. Might get another pair!
I tried these on and honestly they do not fit the size on the label. They are way too small. Not only are they small. They are just so uncomfortable. You just can’t believe they are Nike. Just to top it off - I had to pay £5 delivery. Then £5 to return them. So wasted £10 for nothing.
