ENDLESS ENERGY. Kevin Durant always looks relaxed—until he attacks. His game is reserved yet explosive, difficult to guard and impossible to stop. The KD12 was built for his dominance and endless energy all game long with the latest innovation in Nike Zoom Air technology. Ultra-Responsive Cushioning Full-length Nike Zoom Air cushioning is articulated to follow the shape of your foot, providing a great heel-to-toe transition. For the first time ever in a signature shoe, it’s stitched directly to the upper instead of being set into foam, so it responds to your force. An additional Zoom Air unit stacked in the heel gives you extra bounce on court. On-Demand Lockdown 4-way directional Flywire cables provide targeted stability and on-the-fly lockdown. They relax when you’re not in motion, but when you need them to perform they deliver. Broken-In Comfort Lightweight, multilayer mesh uses minimal backing material for less stiffness and a broken-in feel. Lightweight Flexibility A perforated midsole helps keep the foam very flexible while helping to reduce overall weight and giving visibility to the cushioning within. More Benefits A sockliner insert sits over the Nike Zoom Air cushioning, adding a thin layer to help smooth the feel without compromising the performance. A Flyknit constructed tongue covers your top foot in comfort, adding loft for a plush, padded feel. Perforated padding around the 3/4-high collar hugs your ankle for a snug fit. A rubber outsole offers excellent traction. A textile and synthetic upper hugs your foot.

Awesome shoes. These shoes combine comfort and court feel, a great combo for a larger perimeter player. I've been really impressed by the durability of the grip on the bottom. The only thing I would say is if you are used to something like Jordans with a forefoot only zoom unit, these feel a little bit less explosive vertically.

I bought these in a size too small but I could tell that they were the best basketball shoes I could find! If you want these shoes in good size you are going to have to shop fast because they go out of stock within 3 hours they restock. But overall they ARE THE BEST SHOES EVER!!!! Really great support for the ankle.

What an amazing basketball performance shoe! I've tried a lot of Nike basketball shoes and this is by far the best! It's low to the ground and not clunky like last year's model. I don't notice I am wearing a shoe. The traction is amazing it bites hard! Even for a translucent, rubber, it is hard and the groves are deep, and so far holding up great! The full length zoom is amazing as always, however I wish they would have used React foam or Cushlon instead of Phylon. To me it is a step back from last year, since last years model had react and full length zoom witch was more comfortable. However no strubble board is amazing and makes up a little for this! Idk why they went away from Flyknit other than they wanted you to see the new flywire system. The laces are nice and man can you get them tied down hard for great lockdown. Only thing is they are narrow, but I've got those kd feet anyways. I wear a 13.5 and it's perfect true to size. If you have wide feet maybe stay away or go try them on first! Nike you keep getting better and that's what separates you from your competition! Checks over strips! Lol

Defective
18 November 2019

I originally received these shoes for my birthday. The first pair was amazing. Comfy, great ankle support, and amazing traction, however after playing in them for less than a month the toe started peeling from the midsole. Dickssporting goods was happy to return them and help me order a new pair. The new pair was not the same though. The traction was great but the pillow feeling under my foot was gone. The laces also dig into my ankle area and worst of all after playing them for two weeks the toe started peeling from the midsole again. In conclusion be weary of these shoes. They may get you with their overall comfort but they heavily lack in durability.

Dirty easily
14 December 2019

My son loves KD sneakers. He saved money and bought this particular pair. After one wear at the basketball court they were filthy. The material absorbed the dirt lingering around the cement basketball court in seconds. He wore them once that’s how dirty they look. Yes they were comfortable.

Dope shoe great color
9 January 2020

Really great color, comfortable shoe. Nike & Kd did a nice job this time around. My only complaint is I made a custom pair of this shoe on Nike id but the colors were limited and some of the personalation could be upgraded a touch. Otherwise very pleased and will continue to be a loyal Nike customer for life.

Great for hoops or everyday wear
30 November 2019

I am 5'11" and 215 lbs and live very active lifestyle. My workout includes running and basketball. These shoes are great for anything. For me, these shoes fit true to size. I also like how there is lots of room in the toe box, as I have wide feet. Holds the heel very well compared to most basketball shoes.

IMPACT PROTECTION & MAX CUSHION
18 April 2019

I own a pair of KD 9, 10, and 11’s and let me say this is the best of the four. The traction (on a good court) was solid. The cushion is ridiculously nice and the impact protection is truly knee preserving! I’m a more mature ball player, so I look for extreme comfort, bounce, and impact protection and these delivered all. The KD 12’s have surpassed the Lebron 15’s which were super nice in all three areas. The only downside, the shoes are not as aesthetically appeasing as the recent versions - they look plain but future versions like the “Eye-Ball” edition will statisfy that deficiency. I’m a 5’9 PG and they really work my style of play - Tenacious defender, ball pusher, quick pop, and long ball! Have fun court warriors! They’re durable too!

Right out the box these were comfortable and great for playing in. They fit true to size and had no issues with them. Didn’t even think about them while playing which is a good thing. Great traction, stability and cushion. Definitely recommend. 2019 top 3 best basketball shoes.

The color
4 February 2020

When I open the box. The color(orange/red) confused me the color was brighter than I expected. Now I'm thinking do I have top that matches these shoes. The shopaholic, I am lucky I had a few things instead of all black or white to wear with them. Other than the colors that caught me off guard, I really like them. They feel good and they get attention. I am happy with the purchase.
