Nike KD 13 'Bred'

The Nike KD 13 Bred brings a classic color palette to Kevin Durant's thirteenth signature shoe. The Bred Nike KD 13 mid-top silhouette is constructed with a black textile upper, featuring a striking red leather swoosh that extends down to the white foam midsole. This midsole incorporates a distinctive kidney-shaped Zoom Air unit in the forefoot, complemented by a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit stitched to the upper for responsive cushioning. The red rubber outsole has a circular traction pattern, featuring visible cut-outs to minimize weight and enhance performance. Whenever I think about summertime, I think about jr bomb pops, snowballs, fireworks, and that first hot day. That is what comes to mind when I look at this KD's. I had to buy them exclusively just for the summer. I like to have kicks for certain type of vibes when I go somewhere. To stand out, to be different. These shoes, are definitely a meaningful game changer and can strike up conversation as soon as someone spots them upon your feet. They're very comfortable, nicely cushioned, and it fits according to your shoe size. A must buy for the summer or just for your extensive kick collection! #FaCtZ

Awesome shoe but narrow and entry too difficult!!

This shoe is beautiful. This shoe is super comfortable ONCE you figure out how to wrangle, shoehorn, and brutalize your foot to get into it. I had to return my first pair (Y5/W6.5) and order a half size up (to Y5.5/W7). That solved the narrowness problem but the entry was still a pinhole relative to the size of my tiny foot. But once I got my feet into these shoes, they were like heaven. The full length Air unit is manifest in the most effective way. The collar is comfy and my foot is locked down well for action. But then I had to get my wife to pull the shoes off! Nike has an almost perfect shoe here...But ya gotta figure out the entry to make it work for human feet.

Love the #7 HOLOGRAM on the side of the shoes towards the front toes. Didn't notice it until the shoes arrived. Beautiful holiday vacation floral design. Totally can rock these in the D.R., Cancun, Florida etc. Zoom unit all along the bottom makes these really comfortable. Don't notice it until you wear them. The material might get soaked easily if caught in heavy rain. Might be the only downside. But air flow, comfort and fashion is TOP NOTCH! Bought the KD13 GAMER FUNK style.

Beautiful clean color and top tech materials
12 May 2020

The shoe is comfortable , excelent ankle supportGreat cushion , on the entire shoe you have full lenght zoom single stacked an on the forefoot where you need the most you have double stack , once you break in the shoe you can feel right away the bounciness on the double stack.Traction is flawless it bits the court pretty hard with a nice squeek and in this model compared to the prior you are lower to the ground so you get more court feel .The colorway is just awesome love the combination they look way more better in person , you can actually see the whole colors .I highly recomend this product for basketball players and for casual use .

Great cushioning. VERY Narrow toe box
31 August 2020

I bought these a month and a half ago and have been playing outdoors since then. The cushioning is exceptional and the upper is beautiful aesthetically. unfortunately, I can’t enjoy the full benefit of the shoe because I should have taken reviewers advice and gone and full size up. For over 30 years I’ve worn a women’s 10/men’s 8 and due to Nike’s resizing and now very narrow cut, I will have to order another shoe in a larger size, which will leave dead space in the tip that will cause tripping. I experience pain in tips of my toes after playing for about an hour, and I restrict and adjust my movements and shot to avoid the pain. Unfortunately, Dick’s told me they don’t honor Nike’s return policy, so I’m stuck with $150 dollar shoes that I can’t play in without pain ... MoreI bought these a month and a half ago and have been playing outdoors since then. I will try to contact Nike corporate.

Great shoe for Basketball
15 August 2020

This is a great shoe for basketball, which is what it was designed for, and what this review is about. Definitely runs narrow, but true to size if you don’t have a wide foot - otherwise 1/2 size up is good advice. Cushion support, traction and bounce are fantastic - 10/10. Good bite on outdoor surfaces. Lace up feels tight like a hockey skate, great for power transfer without too much wiggle during lateral movements. Highly recommend.

Love these!
3 June 2020

I was so excited when these shoes were launched and love the white/colorful colorway. I ordered them as soon as they were available. However I just received them and agree with the other reviewer, they are about ½ size too small. I ordered my usual size that I always wear in Nike but they're just a bit too small. So I'm exchanging for ½ size bigger and hoping they are the right fit. They are even better in person than they are on the site though! And very comfortable, despite being too small.

Not durable at all for Basketball, ironically
1 September 2020

These shoes are junk. I bought them for my son. He played Basketball 3 days in a row after receiving them. On the 3rd day, we noticed a small hole that was frayed next to the shoe lace area. I contacted Nike and was asked to send them in for inspection. Nike failed to stand behind this product stating that the hole was a result of "normal wear and tear"..after three basketball games!!I think that to expect a $150 product to only last 3 games without falling apart while playing a sport it was "designed" to function in, is extreme. We will not make that mistake again.

Not worth it
13 October 2021

Not gonna lie these shoes look sweet but are so uncomfortable. The toe is so tight and my toes literally fall asleep. I don’t have a wide foot and these shoes make my feet hurt cause they are so narrow my feet throb after. I also get tons of blisters. Now I thought this was just the process to break them in. I wore them for 3 months and they still give me the same problems. But every foot is different and mine doesnt like it

The design is IT but That's IT unfortunately:(
21 October 2020

I love the design but the sneakers run small. My first order was a 6.5 and my second order was a 7.0 size in men. The sneakers still felt tight on top of my feet but yet my heels felt loose despite my laces being tied. I think that the material used to make this sneakers does not allow for expansion/stretching/wiggle room for feet. In addition, I think that the cushion insert despite providing -comfort- does in a way add to the tightness that I felt on my feet. I would love for this sneakers to be RE-DESIGNED please!
