My preference is "Dr. Scholl's Flat-On-Air Foam Insoles". Those things feel so much better than the rigid stock insoles they come with; or you could do like a LeBron 18 or like a Kyrie 6 insole something like that so your foot can really be against the full length zoom unit. Oh if you're having a squeak in your KD14's it's the stock glue separating from the bottom zoom unit when you walk, there is nothing wrong with the air unit itself if anyone was ever wondering that, anyway here are some added "Bonuses" to the Ron English version, the colors blew me away a lot better looking shoe in person ... Ordered my size and is a little tight on the toes. Besides that, right away loved everything about this shoe. The comfort level is high and I would say quality is high. I got the KD14 Valentine’s Day edition because the box was in my opinion very unique. 10/10

I've worn Nike's for most of my adult life. Had surgery 5 years ago that left me with foot drop on my left side....lost dorsiflexion left ankle. Been an athlete since high school and have worked hard to regain my conditioning. Hasn't been easy. Never wore hight tops casually although did playing football back in the day:) Thought I'd try these to see if they gave me more ankle support. Two weeks in they're great. A little tight but stretched just a little and they fit well. My Grandkids think Pop Pop is "cooler" and lookin like KD. Couldn't be more pleased. Plus makes me look and feel younger:)

Best hoops shoe of 2021 hands down. The zoom air strobel in this sneaker is unreal. They feel broken in to a degree out the box. Word of advice if u get them pull the insole out (csrefully as it is glued in slightly) & break it in manually with your hands & then slide it back in the sneaker. Then boom instantly broken in ready to wear & they feel amazing. Not a better basketball sneaker on the market
KD 14 is one of my favorite basketball shoes for three reasons: durable outsole and reliable traction (even for outdoors), amazing cushioning (soft marshmallow feeling), and fit/containment (wide foot friendly). The strap, which doesn't add much value to lockdown, isn't bothersome enough for me to point it as a negative. My only concern would be the pricing, but almost all top tier performance basketball shoes cost a pocket nowadays.
As always the KD line is extremely comfortable. The midsole is incredibly fluffy and the Strobel board is awesome. The outsole is fantastic so far. The traction pattern gives excellent grip on the hardwood and the traction grooves are spaced so that dust doesn't get trapped and cause slipping. The rubber seems to be very durable and I expect this shoe will last. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who is serious about basketball.
Can’t lie these shoes are probably the best shoe of 2021. I don’t like KD as a player that much but mike team did their thing with the 14s. I have the lebron 18s and the KDs feel better then those. The zoom and cushlon duo is perfect, feels like your stepping on a cloud but then as your foot releases from each step you feel the zoom immediately propel you. The best way I can describe it is stepping on a memory foam pillow then being propelled by a trampoline on each toe-off. Like I couldn’t care less about the materials, the underfoot is what steals the bacon for this shoe. Traction is great, and upper materials are soft but also do a great job at containing the foot. The top lace did bring some unwanted pressure but just kissing it a little made that issue disappear. So don’t choke the shoe to much in your foot. Other then that this might be the best shoe of 2021 so far.
I bought this shoe from Hibbett and the shoe I received had a tear in the right shoe and dirt on the insole and both shoe laces were untied. New Nike shoes always have the shoe laces tied. So I called and told them I received a used shoe when I bought a new shoe. The exchanged order I received again was a used shoe. This shoe had a tear on the right shoe at the end of the shoe and had grass on it and both shoe laces were untied. I am in the process of receiving another exchange and will try one more time. Will it be used or New this time? Not happy at all with the service I am receiving and receiving used Nike shoes when I paid for new shoes.
I'm a big guy at 250+, and these support great. The full foot air is a noticeable difference from many of the Nike shoes that I wear. I used to wear Air Max for day to day for comfort, but these blow the Air Max out of the water. The ankle support works well with this shoe too. From basketball, workouts, to just everyday wear these are top notch.
