Nike KD15

Awesome plays and impossible shots are all in a day's work for Kevin Durant. Give him the ball and he makes the game look easy. The KD15 is stripped down to provide just what he wants: plenty of bounce, a secure fit and a broken-in feel. Fewer materials underfoot and throughout the upper help minimise distractions while optimising energy return and all-round comfort—vital for players like KD who never stop moving. Lace Up, Lock In The laces feed through floating wings along the sides. When you tighten the laces, the wings are pulled down to help hold your foot in place. Smooth, Springy Sensation Full-length Cushlon foam plus a visible Air Zoom Strobel unit provide a dual layer of cushioning that's soft, smooth and responsive. The Air Zoom Strobel eliminates the need for extra layers and brings the energy-returning sensation right up under your foot. Broken-In Comfort Reduced layers throughout the upper strip away unnecessary weight to enhance the feeling of broken-in comfort. Grip and Go The outsole pattern looks like a topographical map, with an array of contoured ridges that bend and deflect in multiple directions to provide traction for every move. "EASY" is moulded into the rubber in a nod to KD's effortless game.

Always have love for KDs - these don’t disappoint. After only 3 sessions, I have to agree that the heel still feels a bit loose - not like the lockdown I’m used to experiencing. I am hoping that as the midsole breaks in I will get a better fit in the back there. This colorway with the light blue on the toe is going to be hard to keep looking crisp. Somebody stepped on my toe so there’s a big dark mark there now, and it really stands out.

Super comfortable sneaker. Great color pattern. So please keep up with the bright colors and the great color patterns. That goes for all the Nike basketball sneakers.

A Great Basketball Shoe!

I did a lot of research before purchasing and it paid off! This is a great shoe for basketball. True fit, great cushioning set up (Full Zoom Air Strobel + Full bed of Cushlon w/ very nice quality insole) that feels good on your feet and gives a nice balance of forgiveness and responsiveness. A stiff shank on the bottom between the midsole and rubber outsole, that bridges the rear foot and forefoot and adds torsion stability. Nice TPU wings ("smartphone case" material) provide a great lockdown and lateral stability when laced up (use a runner's knot if you experience any heel slippage). Upper mesh and padded tongue are breathable and the toe guard durability holds up very well. Very supportive and cushioned heel counter and scooped heel area to cradle the Achilles ... MoreI did a lot of research before purchasing and it paid off! This is a great shoe for basketball. Exceptional traction on indoor courts. However, the durability might not hold up well on outdoor courts. Besides all that, the shoe looks like a work of art and comes in many nice color ways.

Great Store... great Service, fast delivery
6 April 2023

Bought my first pair of shoes from JD Sports Canada the KD 15 "Bred". Shoes are fantastic (my favourite KD Shoe to date). JD Sports online site was easy to navigate and process my order. Package was shipped next day and received 3 day later. Amazing service. Thanks JD Sports Canada!

The shoe has such amazing grips. Due to the longer more flappy grips, dust isn't trapped as easily. The shoe also perfectly moulds the foot to enhance your performance over time. Light weight. And the glow in the dark green was a pleasant surprise!

Quality Shoe - Avoid if prone to ankle injuries
3 November 2022

I bought these shoes last night from the Eden Prairie store, played a game in them and on the first play rolled my ankle rough. These are narrow shoes that provide a lot of mobility with little support on the high ankles or knees. I’d recommend this to anyone who doesn’t normally have issues in these areas. Breaks in quick, light, explosive shoes. I’ll be switching to a more old school look for more stabilization.

I've ordered two pairs of KD15s so far. I love the colorways and chose to go with these specifically because they look like they'll be about the closest thing to a Kobe that you can get your hands on. I haven't played ball in them yet, but I will say, both pairs make a strange popping sound with each step. It sounds like the glue that's holding the insole in place is cracking or something. It may not impact performance at all, and nothing feels like it's loose or coming undone, but the sound alone is very annoying. The shoe is comfortable, though. It will definitely need some break in time as it's pretty stiff out of the box. Feels tough to get a good lockdown like I could with the PG5 or any of the Kobe low tops. Again, I'm guessing that will get better with ... MoreI've ordered two pairs of KD15s so far. Again, I'm guessing that will get better with break-in. The traction feels like it will be amazing on the court as well. I'm excited to see some of the additional colorways drop and hope that these will be a good, reliable hoop shoe.

Comfy shoe. Made already 'broken-in' so no worry on creases. Sturdy for lateral movement but not ideal for shifty guard play. More for a forward's use.

Supreme fit and comfort as always from kd line
18 August 2022

Had plenty of nike kd shoes, last few not been great but these are like they used to be. Excellent fit, not too narrow and room on the toe box. Cushioning is great, make a bit of a spongy noise at first. Materials used are nice and lightweight. The purple colour is amazing.

I ordered this KD15 from scheels.com with very very great price. Delivered earlier than I expected and shoes are true to size and very comfortable cushion provide, I am regular width footer but I think 1/2 up will better for wide footer. I recommend to everyone, do not miss deal from scheels this is best price now in the market. Thanks scheels
