The flyknit upper gives the feel of a running shoe while still maintaining the appropriate amount of stiffness for a Metcon specific shoe. If you don't like the stiff feeling of a pair of regular Metcons then the flyknit is your shoe. I put the original flyknits through the ringer workout wise. Double Unders, Overhead Squats, tons of rope climbs, plenty of runs and the list goes on. I'm hard on shoes so I change every 6-8 weeks with running shoes. With the flyknit metcon I wore the same pair for 4.5 months! And I use them daily to train hard! Well worth the price tag when compared to their competitors.

I bought these shoes for Christmas for my son. He wore them MAYBE 3 times and the shoe is ripping around the collar. He does not abuse his shoes nor would have put extensive pressure onto the shoe for it to be falling apart. I would not recommend... practically a waste of my money!! I now have to buy him new shoes.
I tried on 5-6 different brands/ styles. Seems the quality of production in many brands and styles has dropped off. I had to go to 4 different locations to find something that was worth playing in. In addition none of the major locations had my size in the any of the brands/ styles I wanted.I have used the shoes twice. Nearly rolled my ankle on one outing and tweaked my knee on another occasion. Overall disappointed by the selection, offering and quality of proper playing basketball shoes in a city like NYC of all places.
This shoe is amazing I was very skeptical at first purchasing this shoe but it looked even better when I opened the box. I play on a dusty court sometimes and the shoe held up very well with how good it gripped the court even being dusty. I'm a drive first type of player so I'm a little more rough with the shoe and I usually play in Kobe's and they wear and tear very fast. This shoe has great ankle support and feels very firm with material. Don't think I'll tear this shoe up as fast as I did the Kobe's.

It is nice and low, which keeps me from getting blisters. Other shoes I have tried from Reebok and Innov-8 have a high back, which would rub against my heel. They would leave me uncomfortable and give me blisters. The metcon flyknits have a nice low back, giving me comfort, no blisters, and ankle mobility. (2 These flyknit shoes are SOOO COMFORTABLE! I come from wearing running shoes. Training shoes don't feel as good as running shoes. They are just plain annoying or painful. I bought this a few days ago super happy to get them they are a size 12 so am I they barely fit I have no space in them my feet can basically just slide out when I walk in them. They feel very terrible quality there are spots inside the shoe where the Nike logo is thats very thin for "air" I'm guessing and that's where tons of people complained that it ripped right there so I'm not testing it I'm getting a return I would not recommend if you play sports or something. Spend the extra money and get kyrie 7s those are very good shoes.
I bought these shoes as a Christmas gift for my son. When I received the package I opened the box to coke and find the shoes were used. They had dirt/ mud/grass on the bottom of the shoes. Also one of them had a tear. These shoes definitely had wear and tear. So disappointed
My 12 yr old searched and searched for reasonably priced “loud“ shoes for his debut on the seventh grade basketball team court. To which we were not unsatisfied. It is such a delight to be able to see him on the court. And he just absolutely adores the shoes. Not my favorite wouldn’t have been my choice but I get it now that I’ve seen them in person.and he seems to be performing well with them on. He isn’t sounding or skidding to a stop on the court like he has in other shoes. And his ankles don’t seem to bother him like the mid rise have in the past.
