I Chose this shoe over the new KD’s and it was a bad choice.. the main issue with this shoe is putting it on. It’s so hard to put on you almost just wanna say forget it and go buy some other shoes man it’s so stiff with no flexibility then you got this dumb part over the laces you would think if you loosen it up it’ll be easier to put on wrong! It’s some uncomfortable and tight when you actually get em on they make your foot feel numb, you shouldn’t have to put that much energy into a shoe man I should have got the KD’s!!!

These Kyrie 5’s have no traction, I slid when I was trying to shoot a free throw for goodness sake! Now maybe it was a defect on my pair, but that’s what I experienced. The fit seems very tight around the foot, and flywire drowns your foot. Very pretty shoe, but not a basketball players shoe. Not recommended.

I've read all the other comments and I'm surprised at the low ratings. My son has very wide feet & normally Nike is not the brand for him, but these the Kyrie 5's fit perfectly. Compared to some of the other shoes out there, they are slightly heavier, but the Kyries are more durable than all of them. The Lebrons, Kobes, KDs, etc.; all of them were done after 2 months. My son is still wearing them.

I bought these shoes for my daughter about two weeks ago. I read a lot of reviews and sized up based on the reports of a narrow foot bed. The shoe was difficult to donn despite sizing up. They are heavy also. The complained of the tongue bothering me. The shoes look amazing and she loves the show Friends. She wore them to two practices and said that she couldn’t wear them any longer.
We shopped the whole mall, all the sport shoe places. None had the larger size we required. Dicks had the size we needed at a lower price. Not a big Dick’s fan since they no longer offer firearms and accessories, in fact went there on a whim. Salesman was pleasant and knowledgeable. Pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Will use again
Bought these for my 12 year old daughter. She is a thin girl with thin feet and ankles and she could not get these on without struggling for almost a minute. She tried multiple times, even with a shoe horn, and it was nearly impossible. Sadly had to return them.
My 16yo daughter got these shoes for high school and club volleyball. She has been wearing them for about a month and reports exceptional performance with floor grip and foot support and there's room to wear ankle braces if needed. She and her teammates also like the style much better than traditional volleyball shoes. Highly recommend!
I received this shoe as a gift for Father's Day and I play only 2-3x per week indoors and out. I went up a size as recommended by the salesperson. But after just one game I found that although the shoe was pretty light weight it didn't give enough support for my arch and they were very narrow and pointed making them painful. I have a normal "D" width size foot and they are definitely not that size. Overall design exterior looks great but the shoe is a poor performer because the fit is far too narrow.
Just received these for my son and we are the same size ( I am 9.5W he is 8M) and he could NOT get his foot inside and I was not sure what this issue was so I tried and these run small! But I think they are also for thin feet. So keep this in mind. Also we received the display model and the one shoe was dirty and these are the white ones. I am not happy paying this price for dirty shoes. Overall I do not know if these are comfortable shoes since neither one of us could get these on. there are other kids on the basketball team who have these shoes...they are smaller, thinner footer kids. I should have realized.
bought these kyries for a 13 year old...he is a size 12 or 12.5....per the reviews that they ran a bit small, we sized up to a 13...the fit was spot on. they ended up being "too much shoe" for him, as he prefers a low top basketball shoe....BUT! his 17yr old brother, who is a size 12.5 or 13, liked them!! he says the fit is a bit snug, which he prefers, so we kept them!! nice shoe, if it is what you're looking for, and with one of dick's awesome sales, they didn't break the bank!!
