A struggle to even get on

Bought these shoes a year ago and have tried several times to wear them because k want to love them. It’s a great looking shoe but I just can’t. First of all, getting them on is a challenge as the opening is so small and doesn’t have much give. I don’t even know if I pull tab on the back would have helped. They’re also the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. My feet are not “wide” and I did go up a half size. They are so tight and uncomfy that I can’t wear them more than a couple of hours. My husband also bought a pair and he had all of the same issues.

AMAZING LOOK, NOT SO AMAZING COMFORT

So, I purchased these Lebrons to ball and gym in, but they are actually very uncomfortable because they are very narrow and tight. Now my feet are slighly flat footed, but not anything out of the normal. So, if you are slightly flat footed, or have a wider foot, do not buy these. Besides them being to narrow, everything else was decent (comfort wise). Visually they are extremely clean, just like the photo shows. Good luck to anyone who buys them. Merry Christmas!

Great looking shoe, other reviews get it right: narrow opening, narrow fit. Order a FULL size up.

I have a pair of Lebron 16's that I ordered to my normal size, 12 regular...that one fits GREAT. I really like the design and color way of this shoe and heeded the warning of others and ordered a half size up, 12.5. Still too small. The mouth of the shoe where you insert your foot is definitely small, but at least somewhat manageable.I had to return (couldn't exchange?) because even at 12.5, the fit is just too narrow. I basically never wear wide sizes so it's a shame that this shoe doesn't have wide sizes to get them back to...normal. Will have to look at Goat or something to see if I can get my size now.

Great looking shoes and great grip
22 November 2021

Great looking shoes and great grip. The shoes were pretty tight. Maybe that’s what other reviews said, but I didn’t read them. My bad. I have to wear my thinnest socks and keep the shoes untied. Length wise they fit true to size but they are really narrow.

Great shoes
17 October 2020

I ignored all the reviews. And ordered my normal size. And in my opinion. These run true to size. I have been wearing Nikes for decades. And I always measure a size 10 when I use the brannock device in their shops. I always order a size 10 in everything. I ordered these in a size 10. And they fit true to size and perfect. And the cushioning on these shoes are great. I don't get why people are complaining. Nike did a great job on these. Athletic shoes are designed to be snug so your feet don't slide.

Looks great...but hard to get on!
12 August 2020

Dick's did a great job shipping us this item ASAP. When we opened the box we were pleased with how the shoe looked. But getting it on was another story. The opening to get your foot in the shoe is so small...and tight (very minimally stretches)...that my very slender tween son couldn't even get it on his foot, even WITH a shoehorn (and we bought it a whole size big so he can grow into it). We will be returning this shoe unfortunately. Disappointed.

Nice sneakers
15 October 2020

They fit very snug but I personally like it. These Lebron 17's definitely gives that lock down feel to my ankle and foot. To me they are very comfortable and the air bubble definitely obsorbs the shock...Remember these are basketball sneakers that are made to play in. You can wear them as a everyday shoe but I would suggest you go up 1/2 a size just to give a little more space. Overall these sneakers are wicked! I definitely love the black and red and I would recommend you buy a pair.

Poor Design by Nike
15 September 2020

We bought these shoes for our son via the website. They arrived in excellent condition. They were the right size for our son and he loved the way the shoe looked. He then tried to put the shoe on.... The portion of the shoe where the tongue is usually located only has a hole. This seems to be a typical LeBron trait for his shoes, as we have purchased other pairs of LeBrons that had the same style. My guess is that they are made this way to assist in keeping the shoe in the foot when playing ball. We knew immediately that this shoe would not fit over my son's foot, as the hole at the top is way too narrow for the foot to go into the shoe. My son would have destroyed the heel of the shoe trying to get his foot into it so we took them back and exchanged them for ... MoreWe bought these shoes for our son via the website. Super Hard To Put On and Take Off
17 September 2020

These shoes are unbelievably hard to put on and take off! You could literally pull a muscle doing this. No Joke! There's really no tongue and laces have no function. This dynamic surely adds to the tightness. I rate this part maybe 1 star. However, once you play hoops in them, you can feel the excellent support on the bottom of your feet. They are amazing in this aspect and would rate them 5 stars for that and the fact that they look amazing. I put black laces just to try out. See the pic & you be the judge.

Too narrow and too stiff. My first Nike disappointment in ages
20 April 2020

They look really good but that’s about where the compliments stop. These shoes are too narrow, I had to reorder an half size bigger than normal which never happens with Nike. The half size up is still too tight for my liking. There is also no give in the shoe whatsoever so they don’t provide any of the typical comfort I find in my other LBJs. I am sending back my reorder and hopefully the next iteration has better quality.
