These shoes are generally nice, but basically unwearable because of the tongue design and metal shoelace eyelet. The tongue has a rigid edge that digs into the top and sides of your feet, and the metal eyelet is exposed and does the same. My feet were bleeding from three different places after wearing these for an hour. I tried to return them, but Dick's said because I had worn them once, I was out of luck and just need to eat the $200. Nice policy. Beware of some really terrible shoes!

I ordered the Conchiolins and although they look great and I've gotten compliments on them I am already starting to see creases in the material where my toes are after only 2 days of wearing them. I transport patients in a hospital so I am on my feet all day. These are suppose to be basketball shoes. I figured they could survive walking in them 8 hours a day full time. The logo inside the shoe under my heal is also uncomfortable. Why would you add texture to a logo inside the shoe. For a while I thought something was inside both of the shoes.

Bought the LeBron XXI for my son in 7th grade. The first pair fell apart in less than a month, so Nike swapped them for a new pair. The second pair is doing the same exact thing within a month. My son practice basketball two times a week, and plays games on the weekends. It's ridiculous that these shoes are falling apart this quickly, and he's not even wearing them every day. I would not recommend these shoes.

I love how these new shoes perform. Raising the lace holes higher on the top of the shoes seems to give the shoe a better lockdown on your foot. However, my only issue with this shoe is the tongue. It is heavily padded but the stitching around it is very rigid and smashes into the top of my ankle. So, if my shoe is laced tight, it causes my ankles to get sore very quickly. Then your only option is to loosen the laces to keep the tongue off your upper ankle, which then results in the shoe laces constantly untying themselves since they are so thick. These laces constantly untie easliy.
Bought the Freshwater version 12/6/23 and gave them to my son for Christmas. He is a 5’9”, 180lb, 7th grader. He has less than 50 hours in the shoes and he has only played indoor with them. For the cost, they should last longer. The strings in one shoe are broken, and that’s with normal lockdown. He hasn’t owned the shoes long enough for him to experience normal wear and tear. For the price, I am surprised he did not have this issue with the Lebron Witness 7 like he is with these. This is disappointing.
Have the akoya in size 9. It is snug. You could probably get away with not tying the laces if you just walk around. The minimal design and simple aesthetic is awesome. There is more than enough support in the ankles - it is well padded.I don’t understand why alot of people hate on 21’s but I highly recommend checking these out. Oh i don’t play basketball and got this solely (no pun) for lifestyle/casual wears. The great thing is that this shoe isnt heavy, looks great and performance driven.Although i am not a big fan of the “glued lace” in the back - shoe could have been released without that design back there
Comfortable shoe, but not as good as the 20s (so far). I hope NIke re-releases the 20s.Cons:- Laces - Nike switched from flat laces on the 20 to chunky round laces on the 21. The chunky round laces do not stay tied. I switched back to a spare pair of laces from some older nikes and it was an upgrade.- Colorways - the options on the colorways are not as good as the 20s.- Breathability - I feel like my feet sweat more in these than the 20s.Pros:- Fit - Out-of-box fit and comfort were better than the 20s; the 20's broke in pretty quick.- Cushioning - these feel softer than the 20s from a cushioning standpoint. Feel better after 90+ mins of play.- Eyelets - I didn't have any issues with the eyelets that some other reviewer mentioned. The LeBron 21s are comfortable if you can figure out your size. Depending on the colorway the size you need changes. I am a size 14 in Nike, have been for years. The Nike store by my house had the Abalone colorway and i tried it on and it did not fit, the size 15 felt good. I ordered the Conchiolin colorway online, size 15, and the shoe is too big. My major problem is there should not be a sizing problem just because of the colorway. Doing some research online and it doesn't seem like I am the only person with this problem.
My son had recently gotten into Basketball. He's been doing REALLY good in school and being good so I decided to do something nice for him and get him these Lebron James shoes. He messaged me half way through the day that people were asking him if they were fake, asking him how'd he get them?, and other kids were SOOOOO jealous. I felt like a GOD, like a KING... Like LEBRON !!!My son was ON TOP OF THE WORLD ! He said he had better jump and such swifter movement he was so impressed. He told me he'd saved $650 from working hard at his job and said, "Dad, can you get me another pair of shoes?" to which I asked why. He said, "These shoes are amazing Dad. Thank You SO much! If these shoes tear or something I'm going to need another pair."We shared a laugh and I told ... MoreMy son had recently gotten into Basketball. I love this colorway, the purple looks great. I got a few complements from coworkers my first day wearing them. But the toe box is tight and they don't have a super cushioned feel, so I don't think they're a great casual wear shoe. I'm hoping they loosen up a little as I wear them more. I also played for an hour and a half in them at my local indoor court and they were solid. Good court feel and traction, no complaints there. Looking forward to playing in them more.
