I’ll start by saying I love the aesthetic of these Nike React Pegasus Trail 4’s! I’m all about neutral colors, so the black/gray/white combo earned the shoe major points right off the bat.As for size, I normally wear a 10.5, but received a 10, & although the length was only a tad snug, the width of the forefoot was even more so. Very comfortable. Finally improved the finger loop, you can actually put your finger through it this generation. Slight raised heel accounts forward leaning posture which naturally propels you forward feeling like a fast running shoe. Perfect balance of cushion for road/light trails. Very happy with this generation on the pegasus trail. Can not comment for the Gtx versions as I have not got a new pair of those yet, however my wife is happy with her new ones Gtx trail 4s. These non Gtx ones feel very different to my Gtx trail 3s. They are more comfortable, slightly more cushion and rebound, which I prefer.If there was a negative, the sole tread could be ever so slightly longer. I believe it will grind down very quickly after a few runs converting from road to train.
