I was pleasantly surprised when I laced up these shoes for the first time. For me, it typically takes a few days of wearing a new pair of shoes, about a couple of hours at a time, before they break in and begin to feel natural on my feet. I workout five days a week and take walks everyday, so I need a pair of shoes that can do an assortment of strength training and cardio based workouts. I found these shoes to be supportive and suitable for running and walking as well as reactive enough for plyometric exercises. They are also comfortable enough to wear all day even outside of workouts and they look good with street wear and casual attire. The sole has a good amount of stability and some rocking shape that allows for good forward movement. The shoes are made of Nike’s Flyknit fabric, which makes them lightweight and seamless. The downside of the tongue being partially connected is that it does make it difficult to put on. The shoelaces are also not easy to adjust due to the fabric and thread that creates the lace holes. I find those minor inconveniences are worth it because once the shoe is on, it feels very much sock like and there aren't any seams or bits to rub and annoy. I like that the pops of color (volt, blue, hot pink) make this a little more special than just a basic white sneaker. What I like the most about the React Infinity Run is that the front of the shoe fabric easily adjusts to the shape of my foot and there is supportive padding around my heels and ankles. The Nike React Infinity Run shoes are great multi-use shoes and I look forward to getting many miles out of them.

I previously owned the React Infinity Run Flyknit V1, and I generally wear a size 11.5 if the shoe has a reasonable toebox; but the toebox was much too narrow in that version for me, so I had to go up a half size for the V1.This version has a very comfortable toebox for me, so I was able to go back to my regular size 11.5.I don't know all the fancy running shoe terminology that people use, but the shoe is very comfortable and felt wonderful except for a rub just below my outer right ankle.I tried a pair for a couple of weeks, and the rub never broke in or got any less noticeable, so I thought it might be a defect, so I exchanged them for another pair of the exact same model, and the rub was the same and never got better.I wanted so bad for these to work for ... But a lot of times I run errands afterwards and these shoes transition seamlessly no matter what my day holds.
