This shoe is incredibly comfortable! I thought the arch may be a little low for me, but throughout the day it offered amazing comfort, and just the right amount of support. Even on the move! Running was easy, and smooth. Chasing after my kids was a breeze, and changing directions didn’t make this shoe balk.Things I really like about this shoe:-The weight at the top of the shoe was enough support without overheating my feet.-The grip on the sole was enough traction without too much scuff when I did a quick move on hardtop, or gravel, but solid enough to make me feel like I wasn’t going to lose my footing.-The tongue was great at not shifting, even without extra areas to anchor it to the laces.-These flat laces are my favorite I’ve used in a long time, and good ... My immediate thought when I put on the shoes was that it was very comfortable. I typically wear wide shoes, but even though this is not a wide size, there is plenty of room in the toe box. The toe box is mesh and flexible, allowing my feet to breathe nicely. The tongue is minimally cushioned, which is quite different from my other shoes and makes one feel the tightness of the laces more. That's neither a con or a pro, just note that the tongue is thin and therefore helps you feel more locked-in, but the laces are a noticeable pressure on the top of your foot. This shoe, while light, has significant cushion. It makes for a good "long-run" shoe because of how much cushion it has. Not to say you can't do shorter runs in the shoe, but it's definitely not as light as ... MoreMy immediate thought when I put on the shoes was that it was very comfortable. Nonetheless, I feel very comfortable running 4 miles and 10+ miles in these shoes. They're responsive, with a firm forefoot but soft cushion in the heel. Overall, a great running shoe. It also looks very sleek - I usually only wear running shoes to go run, but these look good enough for me to wear as an athleisure look.

I’ve only used these shoes for a few workouts, but I can say they are really comfortable and supportive. I tried them both with a Functional Training workout and the an Outdoor Run.They worked well for the Function Training. They were nice and snug when doing different types of lunges but were a little narrow in the ball of the foot when doing forward weighted squats. As for the run they were great. They have a lot of cushion in and around the heal, making them perfect for long runs and ever changing terrain. They also offer really good traction when running on concrete sidewalks or the occasion when you need to run in the grass. The only thing I noticed as a down fall would be the weight. Or you could even use these as an everyday shoe like I’m going to be doing.

First impressions were favorable, despite the shoes running about a half size larger than I'm used to. Had I been able to try on a different pair and downsized to 9, I'm sure the fit would have been perfect. Despite that, by lacing up snuggly, and combined with the padding near the heel, slop was minimal.I'm used to lighter shoes with less of a drop, too. There is a huge chunk of foam on the heel of these shoes, and the taper toward your toes is steep. For someone with more of a neutral gate, these may be a bit more cushion that you're used to. It deadens the "feel" of the pavement, which may be good for some folks and a detriment to others. My first road run seemed to validate that, as I had to really focus on my form in order to stop my feet from slapping the ... My first road run seemed to validate that, as I had to really focus on my form in order to stop my feet from slapping the pavement.Conversely, these are great treadmill shoes. Since I typically don't run on the torture wheel to break speed records, it's nice to have a cushioned, squishy shoe to soak up the impacts and allow you to bang out miles while zoning on Netflix. I find most times my legs need to get used to shoes, and after not running for some time, I'll need a solid day off before I'm ready to run again. Even though these were brand new, I found my legs having minimal soreness after the first run, and I was able to run Day 2 with no issue. Plus, the tongue has a great design. It's flat and somewhat stiff, so you won't have to worry about that "curled bacon" curse after slipping your foot in.I have a desk job, and like to stand as much as possible. As such, these shoes have been great in that respect. They allow me to stand for long periods of time without any sort of pain or strain. They also look pretty darn cool. I'm a dad, and as such my taste for style is about as spicy as Ketchup. With mostly black surface, some gray highlights, and just a splash of chartreuse on the heel and swoosh, these fit in with the rest of my wardrobe.Overall I think these are a decent running shoe. I'll likely utilize them as my go-to for treadmill runs, and may opt for a different pair with less padding and more of a neutral drop for road runs, or if I'm doing any sort of pace or speed training.
These shoes exceed my expectations in comfort! I spend alot of time on my feet and enjoy working out daily which means having shoes that fit well and are comfortable are a must have for me. I wear a 9 1/2 and these shoes fit true to their size. The colors of the shoes are very neutral with a little brightness to them that really makes them stand out. I like that i can wear these shoes all day long and not feel like I have to take them off as soon as I get home. These shoes have a great amount of support that I even wear them work now because there so comfortable. I really like how light weight these shoes are and that my feet don't get hot or sweaty wearing them because there is air getting to my feet. I have gone running a mile at least 10 times in these shoes and they still look brand new with a strong sole. The sole of the shoe is strong but also very flexible which makes my running alot easier and more comfortable. I have gotten these shoes alittle dirty when running in the rain but everything wipes right off with a damp cloth and they look new again. The bottom of the shoes also have a great grip so I can get traction when running on dirt or wet floors. Overall these shoes have been great and helped me feel not as sore as before with the extra support they provide me.
I have owned several react models and worn the Nike Epic React (original and 2) regularly, so I was interested in how these compared. Coming from those shoes I immediately noticed the additional stability provided by the Miller’s structure. The designers managed to add just enough structure to have really nice stability and support without the shoe feeling too restricting or bulky. In future versions of this shoe I’d like to see the shoe continue to reduce weight and bulk (fly knit?). The design of the shoe is understated, while the lime green accents provide a nice pop of color. The shoes paired effortlessly with jeans and sweat pants when running errands, which I value in my sneakers. I’m rarely wearing shoes on errands unless they’re comfortable and these shoes ... I’m rarely wearing shoes on errands unless they’re comfortable and these shoes really deliver in that area. They passed my stress test of staying comfortable after a couple hours of running around outside with the kids. So far they’ve held up well and react foam has been very durable for me over the years. The all-day comfort, durability and versatility are my favorite features of the Millers and make them this an easy shoe to recommend.
I bought these running shoes (Black React Miler) to replace an older pair because are the best training/running shoes I've ever found! They have the perfect amount of cushioning and support (they don't feel too big like some 'fancy' running shoes and are light but not *too* light), and the tongue is small and stays put (nothing moves around while you're busy moving), plus the laces are the perfect short length. I'm a size 9 and they fit true to size, and do not feel too narrow (good for wider feet with the perfect amount of toe room, yet don't feel loose). Most comfortable runners I've ever found. They are also super flattering and look cool!
These are the shoes I wish I had last year while training for a marathon. At the beginning of my training season last year, I purchased two pairs of shoes: Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit and a different pair. I fell in love with the Nike's (and now I'm a fanboy; I recently purchased the Pegasus Trail 2 GORE-TEX for waterproof trail running), but even with shoe rotation the Infinities had nearly worn out by the time I made it to race day. They're advertised as trainers, but they won't give you >300 miles. These Nike Miler 2's will get you through an entire season and then some! They're advertised at >400 miles, and while I'm not that far yet, I feel confident that they will get there. The shoes are durable and comfortable. I appreciate the wide toe box (not something I can say about the Infinities) and extra cushioning. The React foam is as advertised, but I will say this pair started out a bit stiff and still has some breaking-in to do. The few drawbacks of these shoes are mainly due to the choice to prioritize durability. They are VERY stiff. The thick outsole will last for hundreds of miles, but it lacks flexibility. They're also a bit heavy. The stiffness and weight means you'll feel these when you run. But again, you shouldn't be buying these to break any PRs, so the stiffness and weight aren't huge drawbacks. Two things frustrated me and kept my rating from being 5 stars. First, the laces are way too short. That's annoying, but fixable. The second isn't fixable: they run pretty hot. Today I ran 3 miles at 65 degrees (F), and my feet were damp by the end. That's pretty irregular for me. It was a blustery day with >25 MPH wind gusts and my feet never felt a single breath of wind. Maybe a non-black colorway would help with the heat, but the cushioning and the thickness of the uppers are going to cause them to heat up more than preferred. This is disappointing because Nike redesigned the uppers after v1 to try to fix this problem. They'll need to go back to the drawing board for v3...If you want to run a boatload of miles without buying a second pair of shoes, this is the shoe for you. If you want to run PRs on tempo runs, look elsewhere. But for what the React Miler 2s are advertised to do, they'll do it very well. They also look pretty decent (especially compared to non-Nike running shoes, and compared to version 1 of these shoes.) I'll probably wear them to work on some days as well. Overall, you won't regret buying these, especially at a relatively competitive price.
