I got these shoes for my fiancé to try out. He’s not a sneaker head by any means, but he definitely appreciates a nice shoe and tends to follow trends fairly closely. I, on the other hand, like shoes that are practical and are more “timeless” and not so trendy. These shoes managed to satisfy both of us! I feel confident that these shoes will last him a while and are a style I actually like visually. He’s a bit hard to impress, and tends to comment more on negatives than positive experiences, but he even said that these shoes are VERY comfortable, and he’s been wearing them all the time, which is his ultimate compliment. He typically wears a size 9, but occasionally he needs a 10 in certain shoes. I selected a size 10 for these to be on the safe side, and he’s got ... MoreI got these shoes for my fiancé to try out. I rarely ever leave reviews but had to leave a good review on this shoe because it is a pretty comfortable shoe after it is broken in from playing basketball for an hour. If you get your normal size shoe it will require some breaking in but I don't mind doing that because I feel like the shoe will last longer. They look really cool and when I played basketball in them I could really feel the court and shift side to side really good. Others have mentioned there is less cushion in the construction but so far I haven't noticed enough of a drop-off because they feel extremely comfortable when jumping and landing. Lastly, they're very light and I can move quicker in these compared to a KD14. I give them a solid 8.5 out of 10 mainly due to initial break in requirement. The only cons is they run a smidge tight on the sides but after you break them in they're a killer shoe. Tip: Load the shoe up with some socks overnight to help break them in faster.Over and out. Just Do IT!

This shoe is really interesting - I liked the design a lot - the different design for the swoosh on either side was something I was into. Also, a small detail, but I also liked the laces a lot, and the branding with the 'A' is rad. The shoe does what a lot of Nike shoes do, at least in my experience, which is runs a little small...I could've use a half-size bigger for it to be more comfortable. It was too tight to comfortable wear no-show socks, so I went without...which actually turns out is ok because the inside is moisture wicking and felt like a sock, surprisingly comfortable! I also felt like I had great support in this shoe, even as a low-top, which is impressive. While I didn't wear this all day long because it was just a little too small, it was comfortable ... MoreThis shoe is really interesting - I liked the design a lot - the different design for the swoosh on either side was something I was into. I got these shoes for my husband. They are a cool looking shoe with lots of three dimensional details that feel really luxurious. The heel feels really cushioned. The black and white color combination is classic with a little pop of yellow in the logo. The shoelaces are really complementary with a black and white pattern too. These would look nice as a fashion shoe to wear out but also functional for sport. They have a much firmer sole than other Nike shoes. My husband said these would not be comfortable to wear all day and felt a little more narrow and tight across the toe area. They have a lot of little details that fans of Giannis will like. They are great for wearing for a few hours but my husband needed to take them off after wearing for a bit. His feet run a little wide though so maybe they will stretch out a bit over time to help.
I really wanted to love these shoes. I have lots of Nikes as I have a family member who works for them and I loved the look of these. They were on sale so I figured I'd buy them from Finish Line instead of from the Nike website or my family member. When they arrived, I still loved the way they looked but they were a bit uncomfortable. I thought I could wear them in but the first time I wore them for a whole day, after a few hours, one of them started making a squeaky noise! Not sure if I can return them yet as I threw the box away :(
Overall fairly happy with this shoe. My only complaint is they do run fairly narrow. My husband has an average width foot in every shoe he has ever worn and said that it felt like his pinky toe was hanging off of the toe box. They also fit very snug through the mid foot area so I would size up if you don’t like tight fitting shoes. The overall appearance of the shoes is sleek and athletic looking and they are less bulky than a traditional basketball shoe. They provide good ankle support while being fairly low profile. My husband said he would’ve preferred a little more mobility and flexibility through the rest of the shoe though. When he first started wearing them, they were pretty hard and didn’t feel like they had much cushioning, but as they got broken in they ... MoreOverall fairly happy with this shoe. When he first started wearing them, they were pretty hard and didn’t feel like they had much cushioning, but as they got broken in they became much more comfortable, and my husband said he could see wearing them all day once they relaxed some. The best part of these shoes is the good, solid ankle support in them. I would change the width to make them a little bit wider in the toe box. I recommend trying them on to see if you like the snug performance fit.
I was stoked when I got these shoes. They have an excellent modern design and coloring but the best part about them is the mesh structure. Often Nike shoes are too narrow for my wide feet or some part of the outer design presses into the side of my feet (near my pinky toe to be specific). These don’t. They are all a mesh like material at the front which flexes and gives lots of comfy wiggle room. And none of the design elements restrict the width either. On top of the width factor these are super supportive. Enough so that I could wear them all day. I have pretty high arches and am a big fan! These check all the boxes for me and have definitely renewed my love for Nikes!
These shoes were purchased for my son who plays high school basketball for the school only. This is important since many students play high school as well as other leagues simultaneously. These shows were purchased in November with the expectation that they would last through the basketball season, which is soon coming to an end. It is early February and these shoes have come apart with a visible hole in the shoe. I contacted customer service and the agent told me Finish Line has a 45 day policy and since that period is over, there is nothing the store can do. I was shocked to find the expectation for products is so incredibly short. As a word of warning, not only would I not purchase this particular shoe again, I would caution anyone from purchasing any item from ... MoreThese shoes were purchased for my son who plays high school basketball for the school only. Upon arrival is comes across as incredibly cheap. My son, God bless him, thought it will be fine and so didn't deal with the hassle of returning them.
For me because I somehow end up in gyms with less than desirable grip, I base my decisions on shoes on how well the traction is. After reading reviews for the immortality, I was excited to see how the bite would be on the court I regularly play at. There's still a bit of slipperiness, but a few wipes and the shoe sticks pretty nice on the court. On a decent court though, the shoe latches onto the ground real nice. For a budget model shoe, definitely a 4/5. I take a star off only because I was hoping the grip would be undisputably great on any court and it's a tad bit low exposing the ankle. So definitely be a little careful; wear a brace if you have fragile ankles or warm up properly. But if you're a young explosive player this shoe is definitely a 4.5.
This is my first new pair of athletic shoes in a while and I am shocked at how the technology and comfort has progressed. My first reaction when seeing them was, these shoes look legit but then I put them on and they also felt like wearing clouds so they look good and feel good.I used to get impact pain when running or playing ball or jumping in my feet, ankles, knees and with these Nike Giannis Immortality shoes, I felt none of the impact on my joints when I was jumping so they are doing their job. Now I just need to get more colors now to add to my collection.
