A Pegasus that can fly at 41

I'm a person that loves new tech. I typically buy things that are cutting edge. Although it can mean some things aren't quite done yet. I am ecstatic to tell you these technologies were made for eachother. The react and the zoom make for an incredible full footed step. I would compare it to a barefoot step in fresh level grass, because you really feel the stability and movement from the shoe as if you know instinctively where you are. I'm happy the Pegasus 41 are available because they truly are. This is the first time I felt the Pegasus are truly the top shoe, For my whole workout. I can run, lift, and row wearing them. Hours in and I don't feel any fatigue. 30 miles in and I don't feel any wear.The Pegasus are so breathable, my feet stay dry after an hour long run. I don't know how they managed to match such a comfortable sole to a breathable upper but man I'm happy they did. The Pegasus 41 are my new favroite shoe.

All-around great running shoe

I’ve been wearing Pegasus models for several years and it’s always been a great staple running shoe. That said, the 41 is a clear upgrade from previous versions! The foam feels springier and overall these are SO comfortable. These are great for easy runs, long runs, tempo runs, even speed workouts. They feel more cushioned than past versions without feeling heavy at all.I do wish the toe box had a bit more room (though IMO Nike shoes are notoriously narrow in the toe area), but I do feel like there is more space for my toes than past editions, which really adds to the comfort level of these.The white/black/turquoise colorway is gorgeous and I know I’ll be wearing these both for running and more casual wear. Great Shoes For The Everyday Runner

The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 is a winner for the new generation of runners. Straight out of the box these are extremely comfortable with the new reactX midsole. These shoes feel bouncy and energetic with every step. As an average runner and trainer I appreciate the true to size fit and lovely dusty cactus colorway. The Air Zoom unit underneath is a highlight for me; propelling me forward with each stride and reducing fatigue. The knitted upper is soft and flexible while still providing the support needed for any activity. The details are on display with the reflective hits on the outside of the shoe as well as the Pegasus logo on the eyelet. My only con is the shoes are a little snug at first but when running this is a pro, because they feel secure on feet. Great everyday trainer from a classic model!

I’ve been running for most of my life and have ran in many different Pegasus models. Most recently, I went through four pairs of the 40 in my marathon training last year and this year. I really like the 41 though. I like that the Nike symbol is a little smaller and filled in solidly this time around. The overall look reminds of some of the 90s air maxes (without the airbag of course). The ride is smooth and the fit is what I expect. At this point, the Pegasus is a fastball down the middle. I generally know what I’m getting. It doesn’t offer some of the high end features of the Invincible, but this a great everyday neutral cushion trainer that you can really stack miles on. I had the Pegasus 40 and got these when they went on sale during Black Friday. Wow. What an upgrade from the 40. These shoes are more responsive, lively, and just plain more fun than the 40. I love these shoes. The underfoot feel is firm but it has lots of energy return, and my legs did not feel tired at all. Set a new PR with these straight out of the box. If you are thinking about upgrading, buy these. If you have never ran before and are looking for an excellent all around shoe, buy these. If you have been running for awhile but haven’t tried these, buy these. People say Pegasus is behind the times, but for me it is perfect. I do not want a 45mm pillow under my foot. Highly recommend Pegasus 41!!

I had been running in the Nike Pegasus 39 and then the Nike Pegasus zoom turbo next nature. My draft review will be in comparison to my past experience with these shoes. The Nike Pegasus 41 when you first put it on feels amazing. Personally when I am running I like a tighter fit on the instep of my foot and the Nike Pegasus 41 offers the tightness I like to have in my running shoes. As soon as I walked around in the the pegs I was able to feel the Nike react X right off the bat. It is super lightweight for how it feels. After doing a couple of runs in them the cushion felt even better. As a heel striker I appreciate the cushion and support in the heel make my run feel more comfortable and the way the shoe is shaped gave me a nice heel to toe transition. Aesthetically speaking it’s one of my favorite designs out of the pegasus line. The fabric feels great! Coming off the Nike Pegasus zoom turbo next nature, I love the feel of the materials. Personally I felt it more breathable and comfortable when running. The thing I like the most about the shoe is how the cushion feels and the look of the shoe. I think the cushion is truly amazing something that most runners will benefit from. Al through the cushion is great it does not come at the cost of weight. When running it feel light. The looks speak for themselves, it is a very clean shoe. One theming I would charge is I noticed that in the heel of the shoe, close to where the midsole and heel meet there is a dip inside the shoe right where the edge of your ankle sits. At first it feels uncomfortable and unstable. I did somewhat get used to it although I still feel that it is there. Not a major problem because when your running that problem kind of fades away when you find your stride, just something I did notice that I would change.

Like Bread and Butter!

For me, the Nike Pegasus 41 is a departure from the earlier models! The feel of the ReactX in the heel is incredible! Talk about soft and bouncy! When I first put them on, it was that plush and cloud-like feeling I instantly noticed! The next thing was the fit! The heel was a snug and comfortable fit, and as you work up to the toe box, things get a bit roomy! It is not too much, but it does allow me to stretch and spread my toes as I run without feeling confined. As someone who is just getting back into running, these things matter. And they matter to everyone. Departing from that, I would also say the feel of the run in them was great as well! Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41

The Pegasus Zoom 41 upper is very much cushioned around the lower leg, ankle, and tongue, giving a secure, safe, no slippage and very comfortable fit. It runs true to size, and the arch support didn’t disappoint. Additionally, ths shoe has two Air Zoom units in the forefoot and rearfoot, which improve bounce, reaction, and responsiveness. I admired for its solid and secure feel during runs and for everyday walking making it fit for a variety and different surfaces, such as gravel paths, trail, indoor, and roads. The outsole rubber is long-lasting and covers almost the entire bottom, ensuring long-term traction. The white color is perfect for summer. I’m impressed and obsessed. I recommend this shoe to everyone.

The Best Pegs So Fat!!!

I’ve been a huge fan of the Peg line for quite some time now. They’re some of the best road running shoes on the market. I started with the 38s, then 39 - 40, and I must admit that after recently trying out the 41s, they are the best so far. With my bunion, I usually prefer the wide size but could only get them by paying extra for the Nike By You option. However, since the 41s run smaller than its Peg predecessors, the x-wide size (it only comes in regular and x-wide sizes) fits just like a wide which is perfect for me. No orthotics are necessary to make them fit more snuggly. Yes indeed, the 41 model checks all the boxes! I plan on getting another pair soon in a different color.
