My first impression of these cleats came before I even opened the package. The sown-down tongue is a plus, and I think the use of the soft material at the top of the tongue was a great idea. When I lace up, it helps give the boot a great lock-down feel. The only thing I would change is the material they used on the outside. I have played in dry and wet conditions, and although the cleat feels very grippy on the surface of the ball during dry conditions. However, when I played on wet grass, the cleats slipped under the ball a lot, making it difficult to maintain that spin on the ball.At that price point, the cleat is a great daily driver. It has the comfort and fit of a premium shoe and the versatility to match. If the break-in time was a bit quicker, it could easily be a number one pick.

I gifted these shoes to my sister who was an avid soccer playing growing up. She stopped for awhile during high school and college, but recently got back into it by being a young girls' soccer coach. My sister knew she could wear normal shoes while coaching, but she wanted to be more involved with the girls while in practice. However, she didn't fit into her old soccer shoes anymore so she needed new ones. These were the best! She absolutely loves them! I was very much looking forward to trying out my new Zoom Vaper Elite fg’s. I did some research online and these seemed like top of the line kicks! When I received the box, I could already tell I wouldn’t be dissatisfied. The overall look was great and they just felt like they were made up very durable materials.When I finally got to try them on and test them out on the pitch, they lived up to the hype. I felt extremely light on my feet. Even on some subpar surface, I always felt like I had great footing and traction.I would highly recommend these shoes to any moderately serious to very serious footballer. What a great shoe!
