The style of these sneakers could not be more on-point! They truly could be worn for working out, casual wear or even for lounging as they are as comfortable as they are stylish. The black/grey/white color scheme makes them really versatile to wear with truly anything.As far as functionality goes, they are great for working out and running. The arch flex is really nice and almost makes them fun to jog in. I clearly love the sneaker, but my only disappointment is in the way the tongue is attached to the entire shoe. Makes for a little bit of difficulty slipping on and off. Overall, great sneaker as most of my Nikes are.

BRING BACK METCON FREE 3!!!!!I purchased these to replace my Metcon 3's and absolutely hate the 4's. They are way to tight around the foot (I have a very averaged size foot in width). The opening to the shoe is the worst part about it. They moved the tab for the heel towards the middle of the back so it's not useful. The opening is much smaller and a fitted distance around (there is no "tongue") so you have to slide your foot in, causing the back to fold, and then dig your finger underneath your foot to get the back over your heel again. Awful design. Makes no sense at all.They also have less arch support, These are meant for training so I still need good arch support for my knees between the different movements these are meant for. Shoe runs a bit narrow like other Nikes and does not have a tongue so can be somewhat difficult to slip on. Once on it is a snug fit but feels comfortable from the first wear with great arch support and for cross training. Stays comfortable all day long. Great grip on the rubber tread. Wide heel is nice for squatting type activities and tread runs high on the sides for rope climbing. Mesh on top makes it breathable. Great flexibility on the sole. Generally prefer a looser fit for my shoes but would recommend if you like a snugger fitting cross trainer.

Decent shoes, but they are very tight in the ankles when you first wear them, which makes it difficult to put them on. Over time, they do stretch out a bit and I expect with even more time, I expect they'll fit better once they've been broken in more. Even though they are a little tight, they feel very stable and secure while walking and running and did not feel like they were going to slide off like some sneakers with looser ankles that stretch out over time. They're definitely comfortable, I walked around for the first time in them for three hours and I had no foot pain or discomfort. There's a nice cushion in the soles. I started wearing them daily, and they were not only comfortable for training sessions, they were also perfect for driving long distances, and doing normal chores. I would not recommend for long walking distances however as the cushioning isn’t as good as a traditional running shoe, but other than that they can handle most things. These Nike Metcon 4 shoes are fantastic. The men's 11 ran perfectly true to size for me. These shoes look great, and they are incredibly comfortable. This is the first pair of sneakers I've ever tried with a fully attached tongue, and they feel SO secure and stable while I work out. I've never worn a shoe with this much support while lifting, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Total game changers! I wouldn't distance run in these shoes, but if you're looking to go from treadmill to lifting heavy, HIIT, or talking your dog for a jog these are absolutely worth your consideration. I've got a lot of shoes to choose from, but I find myself reaching for these every morning.

The midsole offers perfect balance of cushioning for cross training and lifting and even short runs, without being too soft. Stability is excellent with the wide heel outsole and great for heavy barbell lifts.Improvements needed - main ask is that you build the medial mid foot outsole support to have floor contact like the rest of the outsole. It’s the only part that doesn’t touch the ground and became a dealbreaker as it causes over pronation due to no support of medial mid foot / arches. Other suggestions - the upper could be more spacious and lighter. I've never had a shoe quite like this one. I find it to be a very attractive pair of shoes, with a good neutral color scheme. The mesh top, with re-enforced coating on the exterior toe, is both good looking and functional.The opening of the shoe is most notable, and a mixed bag. It is a fixed opening with minimal stretch. The back NIKE branded band on the back of the shoe is actually an elastic band that is pushing towards the inside of the shoe. The result is some effort to get your foot in the shoe, but then a very firm fit once seated properly. It doesn't even feel like laces are necessary!It is a pleasure to walk, run and just live in this shoe. Love it!
Whenever I buy training or running shoes, my usual size 8 would sometimes be a hit or miss. Not with the Metcon 4 shoes. They fit me just right. These shoes are on a different level from what I am used to. They are a perfect fit for me - snug and seems like it hugs my feet and makes me feel like I am not wearing any shoes because they are so light yet amazingly comfortable. It also has great arch support. I got to try the fit, comfort, and durability of these shoes during my vacation at the Smoky Mountains. Non-stop walking for several hours, in different trails, for 2 days. I never felt any discomfort. Also, it looks so stylish. I'm so happy to have it!
