As someone who cross trains 5-6 times per week I’m always looking for a shoe that can keep up and hold up. The Nike Metcon 9 has exceeded all my expectations. The shoe fits true to size and feels so comfortable even after a grueling workout. My most favorite feature is the extra cushion in the ankle that functioned to keep the shoe snug and comfortable during long days in the gym. It also has an enhanced sticky surface around the arches that kept me extra secure while climbing a rope. These metcon Nike shoes are perfect for working out. They are light weight, breathable, and fits nicely around my arch. The shoes feels really supported for my feet and I am able to perform different workouts with these metcon with no disruptions. I have wide feet and the shoes fit me feet well with comfort. The only con about these shoes are. It took a few wears for me to get my feet in. That’s because the shoes are super new and needs some time to be broken into. Overall the comfort is really great and durable.

I received my usual size 8 and the Metcons fit nice and snug with thin socks. I think it's a good stable shoe for squat variations and other leg exercises because of its firmness, and also a good hybrid shoe with flexible toe box for crossfit exercises. It bends without pinching my toes. The fabric is light and breathable. The only thing I would change is slightly lowering the shoe around the ankles. It barely hits my outer ankle bone and because that part of the shoe is so firm it hurts a little during certain exercises. The design is probably my favorite thing. I got the black one and it's sleek and simple; it just looks like a good shoe!

I primarily use The W NIKE METCON 9 for cross training activities. I do like to run but I do not think they are great for this purpose. When I first tried the shoe on I was skeptical since they felt tight and did not have much give. However, the more I wore the shoe, the better they felt. They help stabilize my foot during cross training activities and gave just the right amount of support. The main draw for these shoes is the design. They have a very modern and clean look to them and can be paired with any outfit. I also liked the fabric as it was breathable and stretched out over time. Overall, these are a great shoe for cross training activities and can also be paired with an athletic outfit and worn on the go.
This shoe is a great addition to my workout gear! I got it in black and love how sleek they look and also admire the fine details. I’ve used them for running, walking, and strength training. They are now my go-to pair for walking and training. When running, I have a very heavy foot fall with the bulk of pressure landing in my heels, and I find that there isn’t quite enough padding as I’d like in the heel of this shoe, especially when I am running on super hot pavement. I have wide feet and typically need to find shoes that are a little on the wider side, but these shoes fit my feet really well! They are comfortable and I can see myself using them for workouts, long-term.

I have a very wide forefoot. No, really: I know lots of people say they have wide feet and I believe them but mine must be extraordinarily wide. I also have hallux rigidus on my big toe from years of distance running so that joint is both large and painful when restricted. I wear exclusively wide toe box running shoes daily and otherwise avoid most name-brand sneakers. Why do I say all of this? Because Nike's are narrow. Really, really narrow. I know this and yet I really wanted proper cross training shoes so I tried the Metcon 9. Sadly, I cannot even get my feet into the shoes so I have no photos to share and no real way to test them out.I apologize for the unhelpful review.
