THE most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Bought these for non-leg-days in the gym (Have dedicated squat shoes for that). Yes, they're trail running shoes but they are extremely comfortable in the gym, and the way the top is made my wide foot fits them well and they still have great stability and run cool. I did go for 11'S as they had slightly more room that the 10.5's I normally wear for my wide feet. The orange color is awesome and vibrant and I stand out in the gym. Now I just need the light blue pair!

I’ve worn various road-focused versions of the Nike Pegasus for more than a decade, and this trail model doesn’t disappoint. I use on both single-track and at the gym, and have found sizing true to other Nikes running shoes. My one disappointment with the fit is my foot sitting farther forward than I’m used to, which creates extra space between the back of my heel and end of the shoe. My favorite feature is the deep cushion underfoot that creates a very comfortable ride. Because of the height, I expected to sacrifice lateral stability, but found it to be surprisingly good. The Pegasus Trail 3 isn’t as stiff or rugged as other trail running or hiking shoes, so wouldn’t recommend for a technical or muddy hike. But the lugs provide good grip on the loose dirt and rocks ... MoreI’ve worn various road-focused versions of the Nike Pegasus for more than a decade, and this trail model doesn’t disappoint. And it’s certainly versatile: I put these on several times for a workout and found myself still wearing them after errands, picking up the kids, and a few hours around the house. The teal wasn’t my favorite (though it grew on me) because it was tough to match with any of my workout clothes. But performance- and comfort-wise, the Pegasus Trail 3 has performed well.

They are comfortable, great for running, springy and look great. My son loved his old Pegasus trainers and wanted exactly the same again. This pair claims to be waterproof - which is very useful, so we are looking forward to see how they perform. Feeling quietly confident. We paid extra to have waterproofness and hope they won't stink after running in rain like all the others do. That is the only reason we paid this much. Shoelaces are good. My son has wide foot, so we usually half size bigger than say clarks shoes when we buy trainers. They did at a push give us a free return (i.e. they covered return costs), and that is only because we bought two pairs at the same time and one pair fitted fine, whereas the other did not and they were both same size. I hope Sports Direct allow their shops to handle returns for free like other shops do. I would be then using Sports direct more often - the way their returns operate at the moment I only order from them if I am absolutely confident about the size.

My every day Nike Pegasus had +/-300 miles on them so it was time for a new pair. I thought I'd change it up a bit so I picked a trail shoe. I usually run a mostly dirt trail around a pond near my home. Since winter is coming we're praying for rain here in Central Ca. I'd try a trail shoe. I'd tried other brands many years ago with little satisfaction so I thought I'd try the new Pegasus Trail. I get less slippage on the toe off is the 1st thing I noticed. No rain yet so I'll c how easy the are to clean the mud off the bottom.
The Nike Pegasus Trail 3 is an excellent shoe for walking or running. The grippy platform style sole allows for sure footing on any terrain. They are sturdy without being heavy. I especially like the way they lace up. They are incredibly comfortable too!
I'll start this review by saying I don't usually run on trails but once I got these shoes I decided to try out a couple trails. First I will say that when I put these shoes on they were instantly comfortable! Usually, even with more expensive running shoes, I need at least one or two runs in the shoes before they really break in and get comfortable. Not the case with these. They were good to go from first wear. The styling of these sneakers are as good as any trail shoe. I don't think they'll win any design and engineering awards but I have no problems wearing them as a casual sneaker. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the back loop on one of the ships did rip after a few wears. Not a big deal but worth a star IMO.Overall I'm very happy with these shoes ... MoreI'll start this review by saying I don't usually run on trails but once I got these shoes I decided to try out a couple trails. Knowing this shoe is focused on trail running/hiking with emphasis on cushioning, I made the decision to go half size up to 10.5 (versus my true to size 10 in Jordans and non-running Nikes), which was the way to go. The Nike Pegasus Trail 3 fits snug and wraps around my foot comfortably, which is important for traversing uneven and rocky terrain. The thick React foam in the midsole is surprisingly light and springy, but still provides good structural support for everyday wear.I believe the design language of the shoe was to provide hiking utility while still allowing for casual wear. The upper is made of mesh to keep the shoe breathable, which allows me to wear the shoes all day long. The shoes are very light, comfortable, and easy to put on. There’s also no need to untie and retie the laces, and shoes are easy to slip on and off. What I like most about the Pegasus Trail 3 is how versatile one pair of shoes can be. I was able to work out, pick up groceries, and hike a trail all in the same pair of shoes. Although teal is not my preferred color for shoes, I do admit it matches well with the greyish-pinkish midsole to create a very striking colorway.
First, these shoes are super comfortable. They are generous in width which is a plus for me since I have a wider foot. The extra room also keeps my feet from feeling like they are going to burst out of when flexing and climbing. Shoes can sometimes pinch my feet in certain spots preventing me from getting much wear out of them. These don't do that at all. I also like how they give me plenty of support and bounce but still allow me to feel the ground. That is important for me as I like to feel the changing terrain so that I can adjust my footing accordingly. I can definitely wear these shoes out on the trail all day long. The Pegasus Trail 3 Mens Trail Running Shoes are also super stylish. The color palette is gender neutral yet still fun. These can be worn out on errands and still look good. I also love the string loop on the back for getting the shoe on. It isn't the usual loop of fabric that can often be hard for me to get my finger inside to use.I think what I liked most about these shoes is that they are plenty wide yet still supportive. It really helped make the shoes comfortable and practical while out running. If I had to pick one thing I am a little hesitant about it would be the nose of the shoes. I am not sure that the rubber will stay well adhered to the fabric if it gets wet often or with a lot of use.If you are looking for a stylish yet comfortable shoes that will allow you to run on various surfaces this one is it! I highly recommend these shoes and can't wait to get some more runs out of them.
Straight out of the box, I immediately noticed the nice design and material. Fits true to size and not narrow like Nikes usually are. There’s good grip on pavement, dirt, and grass. But grip on concrete is a little slippery when bottom of the shoes are wet, a slight safety concern when you want to run a day after it rains on the sidewalk. Break in period wasn’t too bad, except the heel tab is a little pointy and dug into my heel more. A slight annoyance but it eventually softened up after a 20 min walk around the block. The tongue was a little flimsy and would always sink into the shoe when putting them on. However, they work well with a shoe horn. Overall, a good trail shoe for different terrains when dry. Not sure how they would fair in various wet conditions.
These shoes are fantastic. I have a wider foot so sometimes I have issues with the toebox being too narrow but these were great and fit like a glove. They did not rub on either side of my foot. The souls are very cushiony and have been great so far for trail running. In the past my shoes did not have proper cushioning even though they were labeled as trail runners and I could almost feel the ground with every step I took. Some runners love that but I do not. This one is the shoe for you if you are similar. As for the color, the teal in pictures does not give it justice. It is extremely vibrant and I am loving that. The speckled soles give it that trail run feel. I’m also a fan of the extra wide tongue that easily ticks and stays put when your shoes are tied. Smart ... MoreThese shoes are fantastic.
