Fits the way most other Nike shoes do, true to size. This soccer cleat is tight, but not any more narrow than a most. Easy enough to loosen the laces, though a little more complicated than usual due to the way it is laced near the toe, but I've only had to adjust that once. The shoe is thin enough to feel the ball on your feet (especially when dribbling), but a strong enough toe that a ball to the tip of your toe won't hurt. Love the look of the cleats

The Phantom Gx Elite Df Fg is great cleat; makes me feel like a professional athlete withe overall colorway and style of the cleat. The sizing, while just right in length, was a touch on narrow side for my wider feet, something that can't really be broken-in, if you will. Not the easiest to get to the laces for adjustment, but it's doable. You definitely forget you're wearing a cleat though, I can attest to that. The traction control is amazing, I'm not sliding around a muddied field with these on, for sure. I like the sleek and professional appearance of the cleat, the overall traction and fit are great, I just wish it was easier for me to get to the laces... I don't know why that bothers me, maybe it's because my feet are a little wider than the targeted audience?

At first glance, this shoe is streamlined for success. The no show Ghost Lace is nice and slick. The charcoal, black is almost ninja-like. However, the challenge was putting on this pair of football (soccer) boots. I think I'll need to get used to it more, but ones had to wait for me to finally get these boots on...not the simplest task. But once on I was ready - the Nike Gripknit surrounding the toe box gives a nice grip touch that allows for better control and precision. The lining allows for breathability as you're running up and down the field. The fit is nice and snug with the perfect balance of agility and stability. So as long as you can get the shoe on...you're set and streamlined for success.

Boot feels great. It has a bit more room in the toe box and midfoot but nothing crazy. My foot still feels good and there's no foot slippage at all. For comparison my nike mercurial superfly 8 would squeeze my foot. It left me with little to no space in the toe box while this boot has a bit of space which is much better and more comfortable for me personally. I would still recommend true to size for the best fit. Touch feels great and overall solid boot. I'd give it a 4.5 stars since theres no in between lol.

For the first time in my life, I could not get my foot in a shoe that was the proper size. The extreme narrowness coupled with the inability to unlace in order to make the entrance larger, made it impossible to get my foot in. The length looked true to size 11. The shoe has very attractive styling and the cleat design is quite aggressive. Quality of materials and construction was excellent. The shoes are also incredibly light weight. Overall a very nice looking shoe but only suitable if you have an extremely narrow foot.
Nike’s Phantom Gx Elite Df Fg cleat is a unique soccer shoe. The upper is comprised of a knit material; it is thick and stretchy and feels almost like a sock. This knit makes the cleats feels comfortable like they are hugging your feet. While this product looks like a slip-on shoe, it has ghost laces which are hidden under a pocket. I love this feature because it will help block mud and grass from getting caked onto the laces - a chronic problem in the Pacific Northwest. It’s brilliant! Another bonus is that Nike includes a drawstring backpack to store your cleats in. This makes it easy to grab-and-go before practice or a big game while protecting the rest of the contents in your gym bag or your car.
