Released in January 2019 Nike hit the ground running with a fresh colourway for one of their breakout stars of the previous year, the Nike React Element 87 Aurora is the resulting creation. Unveiled initially as part of a partnership between Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER imprint, the futuristic Aurora is now set for an in-line non-collaborative launch. Utilising a vibrant green semi-translucent upper similar to what you'd find on the Nike Zoom Fly. This kicks main details include but aren't limited to its black low slung Swoosh that dives right into the midsole exterior taping on the heel, and a wavy, trail-style lacing system constructed of leather and suede that boasts reflective accents-as does the heel tab. The tongue itself features a jagged design, while bold red accents and baby blue hues feature throughout for a pop of contrast. This colourway is rather fittingly named after the aurora borealis, and its use of colour is breathtaking, to say the least, this shoe is perfect for anyone looking for a hit of colour to welcome in 2019.
