The shoe itself is really good. It supports my feet really well and doesn't irritate my plantar fasciitis. The flyknit materials that the shoe's made of are really ordinary, though. I read about the tongue ripping, and this happened the first time I tried them on (after ordering online sight-unseen; Melbourne lockdown 6.0). If I was being overly aggressive or rough with them, I'd take it on the chin - bit I was just adjusting them for comfort. I have owned a few pairs of Mine with Flyknit technology, and have never experienced anything like it. Good shoes, but for well over $200 I'd expect better quality, and that's why I can't recommend them to anyone.

I'm not a big Nike guy, so I was hesitant getting the shoes. They were so comfortable when I first tried them on though I thought I would give them a try. My typical runs or 4 to 8 miles. I also coach baseball and wear them all day for that. bottom line I liked them so much I've bought two pair. Not sure how they will be on the long run, but so far I've really enjoyed them. From the cushion, to the Feedback off the ground, they have been fantastic.

They feature three main layers keep your feet secure while you’re running as well is designed to reduce injury to keep you on the run. The shape of the midsole helps the phases of a runner’s stride and creates flexibility at the toe which helps propel you forward. The midstance provides for a cushioning at contact for a smoother run and it almost feels like you’re running or walking on cushion. When I run in the Nike infinity run flyknit shoes I just feel faster. The soles design propels you forward and gives your bounce in your step. The curved sole helps you strike the ground on your toes which improves your stride and by landing on your toes you have a lesser chance of injury. A faster tempo is guaranteed with running in them. Their vaporfly like rocker sole shape merges takeoff and landing into a smoother transition. This causes very little energy to be lost in stride so your legs will feel fresher longer throughout your run. They have a sleek design that is comfortable for running but also for everyday use. They have a soft feel for walking or just chilling with your friends although the price is a little hefty if you’re only looking for shoes for everyday use. They have a titer fit so if you are looking for slip on shoes, I would not recommend them although this does provide for a very comfortable fit for everyday use and running. If you are not particularly a runner but need athletic shoes these will be perfect. Their easy to carry around and the lightweight fit is good for warming up for your game or just going to the gym. They do cost around $160 dollars although they are worth it.After wearing these shoes, I would highly recommend them especially to runners. If you need a shoe that will give you a bounce in your step with a comfortable feel the Nike react infinity run flyknit shoes are the shoes for you. There durable design will last you for a long time however you wear them, running or just hanging out. There price may be on the higher end at $160 but the Nike react infinity run flyknit shoes are worth it. If you need a new pair of kicks, I would highly recommend checking them out.

I bought the Flyknit as an alternative to another pair or Nike React Milers for a recovery/long run shoe. I was impressed by the feel of the shoe, somewhat softer than the miler which I find hard underfoot. The Flyknit has a nice ride but I find the miler more stable. I'd possibly do a longer tempo run in these of I had to, but would opt for my pegasus or a racing flat first.WARNING - Buyer beware: The big downside, which I did read about in other reviews but thought I'd be ok... The build quality is awful!!! My 2nd time wearing and the tongue mesh tore when putting on the shoe. This occurred with very little pressure. I was able to do some repair stitching but this was limited due to the elastic used in the tongue. 100k later and seems to be ok with extra care. ... MoreI bought the Flyknit as an alternative to another pair or Nike React Milers for a recovery/long run shoe. Nike should be ashamed with releasing a shoe this poor!Overall, a great shoe but let down by poor quality build. I wouldn't buy this again.About me: 45yo, 70-100k per week, 17min 5k runner
I will start off by saying that I have been wearing Nike react shoes for the past 10 years and I've never had any issue with a previous version of this particular model. Should also note that I only wear these shoes yet they shoes inside the gym on an inclined trainer. I don't run the streets with these shoes (use my Brooks) and occasionally I wear them out casually. I've had these shoes for about 3 1/2 months and within the 1st month I noticed the tongue on both shoes both shoes was starting to give. I really like the feel of the shoe and so I've been real careful when putting the shoes on so not to pull in the tongur. The tear in both she's is progressively getting worse and noticeable (see pics). The shoes were purchased at Nordstrom so I'm hoping I'm allowed to ... MoreI will start off by saying that I have been wearing Nike react shoes for the past 10 years and I've never had any issue with a previous version of this particular model. I usually run in stability shoes (GT2000, Adrenaline GTS) but have other shoes to keep in the rotation. Tried these and after a break-in, I really like them. The fit is a bit tighter in the forefoot (have wider feet, though other shoes are normal D width) and tongue feels delicate. But the ride is great and encourages me to keep the cadence up. Nice cushion and supportive enough (and fairly light). Fun for my 4-8 mile runs @7:30-8:30 pace.
These shoes are lightweight yet supportive running shoes. They are very comfortable for 10+ mile runs on the road, gravel trails, and treadmill. The colors schemes offered are appealing to the eye. Would recommend to runners or someone just looking for a comfortable everyday shoe. The only negative I have to say about these shoes, would be the squeek that has developed from the insole rubbing inside the shoe as I walk. The shoes have been very durable in my time of ownership.
I have been a faithful Nike Vomero wearer since about the 6th generation. They had been great up until the last couple of generations. I was a bit resistant to making a change, but it was time. On my way to Florida last January we stopped by the Marietta, GA store to investigate an alternative. Krista, the store manager, helped me through this near crisis with her comprehensive knowledge of what seemed like every shoe in the store. I went with the NIKE REACT INFINITY RUN FLYKNIT 2.I am a straight up neutral shoe runner, but always felt like my Vomeros over-supinated me just a bit. I feel incredibly centered over these shoes with each foot plant and the React cushioning is just perfect for me. I feel incredibly centered over these shoes with each foot plant and the React cushioning is just perfect for me. My wife and I walk a lot and for the first time ever I have felt comfortable walking in my running shoes. I know I am breaking a cardinal rule of running shoe use, I guess I have to buy a second pair.Krista, thanks so much for your assistance in making the purchase of the best running shoes I have ever owned in over 50 years of running.
I am now on my second pair of Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2 running shoes. I started wearing the version one of this shoe almost two years ago when I had to stop running because my ankle tendons were chronically inflamed. These shoes work great for my stride because the bulk of the cushioning is right below my midfoot where I land. After wearing these shoes for two years, my mileage is back above the 20 mile per week mark and my ankle issues are completely gone. The version 2 of this shoe is a significant improvement over the first version in that now the toe box is wide and accommodates even my e width feet. The sizing on the version 2 is a bit small. I normally wear a size 8, but for these shoes an 8.5 fits perfectly.
Really wanted to love but they're "okay"... look awesome and the midsole on version 1 was great but upper was mega sloppy and loose; they have fixed that in V2 and it's a great midsole and upper BUT they come up so small it's crazy. Will likely give to the misses. There's a poking arch too, due to the clip digging in which means useless outside of running, e.g. painful walking about--way more prominent in version 2... Good while running but the short pointy toe-box hurts my big toe. The midsole softens up after 50 km so give it time it's basic EVA with a fancy name so give it chance as it's well executed. The sizing is just so frustrating. V1 came up big and this comes up small in identical sizing ... laughable from Nike as they're the premium expensive brand. Not stable enough to justify the poking heel clip in the arch either. If they stocked this at my local SportsDirect shop I could probably have tried it on but they don't.
