My last few pairs bruins to skate in the insole got worn and thin feeling quick. These feel so plush compared those! They take a impact way better than the regular SB bruins. I really like them so far.

I bought these to skate in. Love the style, colors, and materials, but they are way too narrow to be comfortable. Even without the drop-in midsole, they are still too narrow to be comfortable, while somehow also being a bit long.I really wanted to like these, but they'd make my skate sessions unbearable! I skate mostly Nike, and my favorite skate shoes are Blazers, so you'd think that if I wear a 13 in Blazers, then a 13 in all Nike SBs would fit. Unfortunately, this is not the case!The worst part is that I cannot size up, since almost no one makes a 13.5 and a 14 would be way too long and clunky.
The bad stuff first. I've worn a 10.5 in every Nike I've bought since 9th grade and this is the first one I should have gone with a 10 on. The other issue is that after about 1 hour of skating the shoe was slippery on the board. It's just not grippy enough for me. Also pretty stiff during the break in period.The good stuff. The insole is extremely comfortable. It takes heel impact very well. The shoe seems really durable. No torn laces, ollie holes, or kickflip rips yet. In fact they seem like the bottom will blow out before the top.Bottom line is that these would be a repeat purchase if they had more grip. As it is I'll probably try putting the insole in a grippier shoe.
Don’t be like me and listen to the one review saying these are bigger than true to fit. I ordered my shoes size and they were TINY. Don’t be like me! Otherwise awesome shoes I ordered more
