Amazing shoe with a flaw

I own the white lows and the "Shattered backboard" highs of this shoe. The fit is amazing and the materials are top notch. I want this to be my go to basketball shoe but The traction indoors is so bad.(This could possibly be just with the gyms that I have played in - the traction varied from inconsistent to non existent in the gyms I played in)I had the high tops first and I found myself on skates indoors. I kept those for playing outdoor (Where they don't have the best traction but are actually serviceable) I got the white lows because I heard they had fixed the traction issues and changed the rubber compound. I tried those a few times in two different gyms and found that the traction would be inconsistent and give out on a landing or quick change of direction. ... MoreI own the white lows and the "Shattered backboard" highs of this shoe. One gym I played in the shoe slipped like skates and I had to change shoes just to be able to play any defense and not hurt myself. If these had good traction they would be the perfect shoe. Right now they work for casual wear and playing games on outdoor courts. I honestly reach for them every time I play outdoors (Though I keep another pair of shoes with me to swap into.)I haven't had the traction lay me out on an outdoor court, just slip slightly and rarely. The traction gives out just enough that I find the thought of it going out to be more detrimental than any slippage I've actually gotten outdoors. The cushioning and fit is absolute perfection.(I would not recommend these for indoor basketball.)

Awesome shoes! Runs small so get a full size bigger

This shoes are great. My 10 yr old son loves it! I had to exchange it for a bigger size though. No problem there. My son had a kd9 size 5y. So I ordered 5.5y. Had to exchange it with 6.5y. Perfect size with room to play/grown in. It was on sale so no brainer there. Looks great too!!!

I have worn only Jordan and Nike shoes for indoor basketball for the past 20+ years. These shoes have the worst grip of any of those shoes. They are constantly slipping. I thought they might just need to be worked in, and that the grip would improve. But nope, the grip is no better and no worse now after a couple months. The grip is intrinsically slippery. My last pair, Kobe 11 lows, were great on the same court I regularly play on.

Great Features, but one flaw!
6 August 2017

I love the shoe. I have 6 pairs."The Fine Print"""Black and White," One for playing, one for casual"White and Red," One for playing, one for casual"All red"Aesthetics = Beautiful.Comfort = Wonderful.Flaw = The translucent sole. Not all of the shoes (Nike or Jordan) need a translucent sole. A White sole is perfectly fine in place of the translucent sole. Maybe offer the translucent sole as a premium. Or be able to ID them how you want (preferred). The translucent sole yellows and makes the shoe now undesireable, buying experience remoreseful, and neglect of future purchases very high.

Great shoe & comfortable but falls apart
1 September 2017

Purchased the Q54 XXXI Low in July & have worn them about 4 times. I noticed that paint is peeling on the outsole. I have the Pure Platinum & it hasn't done that yet & I've worn that about a dozen times. For a limited release shoe I was hoping to get a bit more quality but the black falling apart makes it look bad. I was going to get the all black ones but now I'm going to hold off

It's good. Not the best.

The dunk highs are good for high impact skateboarding. Wouldn't say exactly the same for technical stuff. Thick cushioning around the ankles make them comfortable for when you're not skating. They're very stylish. I'd recommend a pair, just if you're always hitting your feet with your board.

Looks and Feels great! Zipper eh...

First, I want to say this shoe looks amazing and is going to look awesome on the United States athletes in the Olympics!Right out of the box you can tell this shoe has been well made. The shoe has a thick rubber sole with a nylon and rubber type mixed upper. The combination of the white USA with the red accents just scream patriotism. The shoe is not heavy like I expected and is certainly water resistant as advertised (Its raining this morning and the shoe still feels fresh and dry! The shoe rises above my ankle and gives much better support than I initially expected. The heal of the shoe is probably a little over an inch and tapers down to just below a half inch. The shoe provides a great cushion when walking. The shoe rises above my ankle and gives much better support than I initially expected. The heal of the shoe is probably a little over an inch and tapers down to just below a half inch. The shoe provides a great cushion when walking. It also has what feels like a good mixture of both hard and soft rubber to give you a good combination of stability and grip.Putting your foot in the shoe is like slipping on a tight sock or dive booty. the shoe almost molds to your feet. The insole of the shoe is like a big cushion and defiantly keeps your feet warm! Now for my one drawback on the shoe. The zipper used to lace the shoe up. The zipper kind of sucks to be honest. If it just zipped straight up the front of up the side it probably wouldn't be so bad. However, it starts on the outside of your foot, goes across your foot on an angle and around your ankle. So first problem with this design is that when you put your foot in the shoe, there is the booty type insole you slip your foot into that is attached to the shoe. When you go to zipper the shoe up, that booty has a tag that you pull on to adjust your foot inside and it gets caught in the zipper. So its a little annoying tying to push down on the booty with one hand while trying to zip the shoe up with the other. Once you get past the top of your foot and have to go around the ankle it gets a little tricky. You have to almost stand and put your foot on a 90 degree angle with your leg to get the quarters to line up to zip. That is a bit annoying but its tolerable.Overall the shoe is great and I would recommend as a good all purpose shoe, especially if you are in a colder or damper climate. Also is a good shoe if you just want to sport your patriotism and the US

Shoes did not look well taken care of. Major blemishes on the front sude, suede appears pale and damaged. Slight discoloration on other parts of the shoe as well. Definitely dissapointed to say the least

i really like the black/grey colorway of these, and the materials are nice and should last a while, but i didn't notice the lack of padding around the ankle and the thinner tongue until i received them. they feel tighter around my foot as well. with the tighter feeling around my foot and the loose feeling from having no padding around the ankle, it's an odd feeling wearing these and i'm not really too fond of this model.

This is a great looking shoe. That's the good. They fit different than the OG 31's. MUCH more snug. A more narrow toe box. Feels like less cushion in the forefoot. And my right shoe started creasing on the toe bend the first time i tried them on. Not good. I have eight pair of the 'regular' 31's. I know what I am talking about.
