They are pretty good quality shorts. Just slightly bigger than I anticipated. I usually am a small and purchased a small with these shorts and they are pretty loose around my thighs. I’m aware they are supposed to give you room, but it’s just a bit too much where it looks like I may need to size down one although I don’t like how low-rise they are. Overall, still some very nice shorts to just casually wear.

I purchased these in my normal size medium (5’5 & 150 lbs). They fit perfect! I’m so glad I didn’t size up like some reviewers suggested because I actually think they are a little oversized compared to other Nike shorts I have. They also are pretty long but I was hoping exactly for that because most running shorts I am finding are SO short and revealing. Love these so much!

Purchased these after my favorite under armour’s retired & they changed up the waste band. These have a great fit, I love the waist band, and I will definitely be purchasing more in different colors!
I stumbled across the sale for Dry Tempo's and was so pleased. These have been some of my favorite workout/lounge shorts ever and I love a good deal. I got carried away and bought 5 pairs. When they arrived and I tried them on, I was super bummed. The fabric is 100% recycled polyester and the fit is huge. I bought mediums and the panel that covered my rear was so large. I probably could have fit almost two thighs because they were so wide. My other tempos aren't as open in the leg area. I ended up returning them to the store and found that some were the recycled polyester and others were polyester. I don't know if Nike changed the fit, but these aren't what I remembered and was super disappointed. Academy crew were all great, so nothing against the company. The ... I have been buying these shorts for years. I decided to buy a new pair when I went into the store. I was not able to try on (due to the current pandemic). My other Nike shorts are mediums (with a loose comfortable fit) so I got a medium in the new pair. Got home to find these are made different & run a lot smaller. I’m usually a size 6-8 in jeans and the inside panty/liner is made extremely small. It was tight around my legs/butt. It is almost like a size small panty liner was attached to a size medium short. The shorts fit but shorter and more fitted than my older styles. I’m not a fan of the way these are made, it has a really weird fit. It would probably work better for someone with no butt or curves.
I ordered 4 pairs in a size L since my other nike tempo shorts in size M were beginning to be to tight. When they arrived I was disappointed because the shorts were so long and the leg openings were so wide. Needless to say size L fit more like an XXL. They also feel different than my other nike tempo shorts. I love Academy and have high hopes so I am going to re-order in a size M and see how they fit.
