The first signature shoe from tech wonder Shane O'Neill, the Nike SB Shane, is a lightweight shoe for optimal performance. The unique lacing system allows conventional lacing or the use of durable ghillie loops. The imprint Shane can be seen on the insole, under the tongue and on the heel. The earthy, sun-inspired logo is a mash-up of Shane's initials. The unique design offers the option of lacing through the conventional eyelet strips or using ghillie loops for even more durability. The rubber was made thinner in the most important areas in order to enable a flexible, light, worn-in feel right from the start. The foam insole with Zoom Air element in the heel offers responsive cushioning. The extended rubber toe buffer increases durability in this highly stressed area. The slightly raised band between the midsole and upper makes for a more consistent flick.
