Own two different colorways of this shoe and thoroughly enjoyed the reactions of other people when they see the shoe.-Aesthetically, the shoe is very distinctive and easy to wear with casual clothes.-Comfort-wise, the shoe is very supportive and provides adequate step-in comfort.-Durability is average due to the leather/suede portions being susceptible to normal wear/tear.***The one issue I did run into was sizing. The second pair of shoes that I bought were two totally different sizes (Size 10/11 in Men). I now have a very nice (albeit expensive) looking paper weight instead of a pair of shoes that I really looked forward to wearing.

Let's be real. You're not looking at this shoe for the support or the comfort (both of which are quite adequate, just for the record). You're looking at this shoe because it looks super stylish. Bold yet understated. Futuristic yet simplistic. I will tell you that this shoe looks even better in person and is an absolute eye-catcher. I got these shoes yesterday and have already received more complements on them than I care to count. I find that the toe is often the problem area of a stylish shoe as it will fade/wrinkle over time from bending so often. Not on these. The pebbled leather hides the signs of folding/wrinkling, and white leather (I got the white/red pair) will not fade. Quite simply, these shoes are so stylish that you can't not look good in them. I've never been a fan of AF1, but love this modern, boot-like style with it's military elements, especially in the green colorway I bought (Sequoia). Here's the thing with the AF1 sole: It's very very chunky. It's a thick sole, wider than anything I am used to and the most difficult part about wearing these is they are not flexible in the slightest. They are very well cushioned and your foot will be comfortable no doubt, but at the cost of total isolation from the pavement. It's a really strange sensation that I've actually only ever experienced in really clunky winter boots. I've had to adapt the way I walk in them. First couple of times driving with these was really difficult also. Again, my foot is so isolated from the outsole that I almost could not feel the ... First couple of times driving with these was really difficult also. Again, my foot is so isolated from the outsole that I almost could not feel the pedals or what was going on beneath my foot. I have to adapt to how I drive when I wear these. Since I can't really feel what I'm doing, it can be hard to properly accelerate behind the wheel too.By the way, not sure if the description mentions this but the back of the heel (where the zip is) is padded. It's not terribly supportive, so if you are someone who walks heavy on the heel or likes it right up against the back of your shoe it's going to feel like there's nothing back there. The nylon upper is very collapsible. I walk more forward on my foot. All in all I'm happy with these. Wouldn't buy another pair as I was planning on buying in another color, but I bought these for the style and they did not disappoint me in that category.
