Nike Streakfly Road Racing Shoes

Our lightest racing shoe, the Nike ZoomX Streakfly is all about the speed you need to take on the competition in a mile, 5k or 10k race. Low profile with sleek details, it feels like it disappears on your foot to help you better connect with the road on the way to your personal best. A full-length ZoomX midsole provides the ultimate lightweight responsiveness. The foam stack heights are lower than the Vaporfly, saving weight and giving you a more aggressive feel. It results in a shoe so light, it disappears on your foot while still giving you the responsive protection of ZoomX foam, helping you reach your fastest pace throughout the turns and accelerations of any race.Nike ZoomX Streakfly men's running shoes.

Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race.5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I'm not the fastest guy out there. 8:35 miles.Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I don't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I'm not sure if the wear will show.Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade.I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I don't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

Yes, have the Vaporflys and the Alphaflys. Just bought the Streakflys for an upcoming 10k in a couple of weeks. First of all, you have to train a bit in your racing flats, so did an 8 mile, with 1 mile at 7 per and 1 mile at 5:15, trying to go under 31. The good: great upper, super breathable and roomy with good lock down and lace system. Great heel counter, once again great lock down and feel with the bumpers. Good cushion at the metatarsals for a good forefoot ride. The bad: already falling apart, I've only done 8 road miles on them and the traction is already wearing//wha?? Also, it seems that the magic foam I love so dearly seems to be creasing and is a bit pieced together. Really weird, I'm afraid a chunk is going to fall off mid run. No rocker to bring you through your gait and you gotta work for it as it these things are flexible..really flexible. Don't feel the shank at all. I did hit my target times, but I hope they last another 8 miles or I'm out. I'm surprised people are putting these into their rotation. I'm 145, 6', and an efficient runner, they should not be falling apart at this phase. Boy, if Nike put even a 3/4 plate and a bit of rocker with more traction these would be the bomb. But, right now I will not be reordering a pair of these. I'm bummed. Nike, your killing me!!!! So close!

This shoe was awesome on my first few runs, but the quality was very disappointing. The sole of the shoe started to come apart after only a few runs. This is the second pair of racing shoes from Nike that I’ve had do this, so I guess the comfort and bounce comes with a major decrease in durability.

Love'em
16 February 2023

Had my shoes for 2 wks, and my ankles, shins, knees and lower back LOVES them. They fit great, light weight and are perfect for long walks and running. Ordering a second pair (different color) now!!!

Midfoot plate
21 March 2022

I really want to like the shoes (they fit great and the ZoomX foam is responsive) but the midfoot plate can be felt right under the foot on my pair. With every step it feels like the plate is being pushed into the arch of my foot. Maybe my pair was defective in some way but I cannot run in these again because it was too painful. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this issue.

My favorite shoe
3 June 2022

I haven't raced in them, but they are my go-to shoe for runs of 8 miles or less (which is most of my runs). Upper works well for my wide mid-foot and I love the low weight and low drop. I like the appearance as well.I would not recommend for heel-strikers or runners that need motion control.

Excelent shoe for distance and to get on speed, very light . The upper is superb and the outsole is divine. Its great for short tempo runs between 5 and 10K.

Really like these
27 April 2022

These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10-15 miles without issue. I've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they're still going strong. Wishing they'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples ... MoreThese are great. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

These run small
8 April 2023

Had to size up a half size in these. Maybe because they are unisex or maybe because they are racing shoes. But I ordered my usual size and went out for a run ... around mile 2 my toes just felt squished and super painful. Looking forward to getting the proper size because I love how lightweight they are!

I got back into shape a few years ago and have been using RR sports because of their superior customer service. I've found myself checking these out in store one day because another brand I usually wear wasn't in stock. After reading reviews online I was impressed with the 100% satisfaction mark these shoes were given. I must say when they came in I had to check to make sure shoes were actually in the box. These are so light it felt like an empty package when they came in. For something as light as these I could not get over how extremely comfortable and supportive they are. I'm not usually a Nike fan as they're shoes tend to be on the narrow side but these felt true to size. They felt like I was wearing nothing at all.
